Brought in a bag and small storage box of trendy teen clothing items along with 3, 2 piece bikinis. The manager stated they are not taking swimsuits until April 1st. She started sorting through my clothes and told me I could look around because it would take 15 minutes or so. Came back and noticed she had only taken a few items, maybe 3-6. The small stack was in a crumpled pile on the counter and I didnt even look through every piece she had taken but kind of took note of the items. I left with the rest of my stuff. Only to discover after I got home one of the bikini tops was missing. I tried calling the store 5 times. I decided to just go back and ask them for the top back. Upon walking in, the manager looked up and immediately looked away. I said "maybe it was a mistake that one of my bikini tops got mixed up in the stack you accepted from me?" She said oh, we do take bikini tops, not bottoms. I then asked her why did you take the top if you werent accepting swimwear until April 1st? Well, then she denied even saying that. I asked for my bikini top back and even said I would give back any money she had given me earlier. She then, politely went in the back room and brought it out. Sorry, watch this place. I think the manager is not the most honest person. Also, to follow up on some of the other 1 star reviews as to their items not being taken: I'm still baffled as to why more of my items were not accepted. We had name brand items in pristine shape. While most of the items on their racks are old, outdated and less...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was honestly appalled at some of the negative reviews because every time I come here the employees are really nice. Never came across that rude blonde other reviews mention, she must be gone now.
I much prefer to give my clothes here than to Platoās Closet. I find they accept more since anything they donāt sell gets donated anyways. Whereas Platoās would take like 3 things and give me $3 per item. Threads gives you half of what they sell your item for so you do make more just not immediately. I also like that they donate unsold clothes to good charities in the area. Overall I love it and will never take clothes to Platoās again! If I skip Threads I donate to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI really wanted to like this store but I cannot accept discrimination. They advertise as size inclusive but their plus size is VERY limited. Several people have reported to me the customer service at this store is stuck up and rude. Asking for a dressing room was like pulling teeth. The teenage girls behind the counter are too busy scrolling their phones to pay attention. Asked to look at something behind the window but they questioned why if it wouldnāt fit. Come dressed to impress because donations are only excepted if you look nice. Trust me there are way more consignment shops in the area with better prices and...
