I never have issues with Starbucks, but tonight I went to this location and from the get go there seemed to be issues. I went through drive thru and was asked to please give them just a moment....no big deal, I needed the extra minute anyway. I started to order a regular or "grande" pumpkin spice frappucino, a venti coffee with quad shot espresso (ordered just like that too) and was asked to repeat again those two items, so I did. I then ordered my last item which was a quad venti cinnamon dolce latte. The young girl repeated my order and gave me the total. Everything seemed okay. I pull up to window and it seemed there was some distraction going on amongst the workers inside, but it is a drive thru, so I didn't think much about it. I was eagerly awaiting my order so I could get going. When handed my order, I notice one of the hot drinks was smaller than other and I questioned it...was told the cinnamon dolce was the smaller one. I explained both should have been venti size and the frappucino should be grande or regular size. She decides to argue and tell me I asked for blonde coffee, a grande blonde.....ummm no, I did not. She continued to wish to argue with me for some reason rather than quickly fix the order she made incorrectly as now there were several people waiting behind me. When I asked about the quad shots??? Well, that really made her upset and she stated I never asked for quad shots. Had I not been ordering for other people, I would have just cancelled my $13 order and never gone back. I will NOT go to this location again that is a definite. Word of advice for the people who work the drive thru, don't argue with a customer when you have a line full of cars waiting, fix it and move on and allow the customer to pull forward so others waiting don't feel upset they are waiting on someone else. I offered to do this and was told no need by the employee. What a huge disappointment and to the girl who was involved taking my order and working the window....you are going to have rough days where things don't go smoothly, but when you allow a mix up in someone's order frustrate you that much, and allow your service to other customers to lack, you don't deserve to be working that...
Read moreMy husband and I stopped at this location (E. Broad in front of Target) and ordered our usual. We waited 20 mins in the drive thru, once we got our coffees and just seeing them being handed it to us they were not made right at all! I get iced coffee and there was no ice or caramel and it was blended-an iced caramel macchiato is NOT blended, comes with ice and caramel and my husband’s caramel frappe with extra caramel and 2 shots affogato-there was no caramel and shots were not on the whip. We were already running late for a place we had to be at so we just took it and left. Our coffees tasted like SOAPY BATH WATER!!! So disappointing!!! Our breakfast was good though. Said name at window but go no response & I asked am I good a response was yes, pulled up, woman asked if my drink was a blonde something & I said no, and showed my phone with the mobile order, with drive thru option selected. She turned around and got my sandwich & croissant than said mobile Kathleen order....Not sure what is up with Starbucks here...but handed me a bag with cheese goo on it as well as chocolate on the croissant...and handed me drinks with not plugs for the tops....this is extremely disappointing... Will never come back to this one. The woman seemed flustered working and perhaps not a good fit to be the face of interaction with customers. We all have our bad days but her bad day made me a bit bitter....avoid...
