I am a current resident at 351 Marin, where I moved since February 2025. My experience here has been overall very positive and would recommend to anyone interested in moving to downtown Jersey City. While I am giving it 5 stars, I want to be more thorough for everyone considering moving in.
Staff: If I have to name one single thing that makes this place AWESOME is the front desk staff. Since the day I moved, I was treated respectfully and efficiently. Perin, Diane, Tatiana, Vinny, Shakira, and Jerry are always friendly and fun to interact with. All of them, as well as the maintainance staff are courteous, responsive, and highly professional, always ensuring that resident needs are met in a timely and respectful manner. They honestly make my day every time I enter or leave the building. They make an effort to get to know you and care about your experience as a resident. Location: The location is exceptionally convenient, with easy access to the PATH, grocery stores, dining options, and pretty much anything else you may need in Jersey City. Ride to downtown Manhattan is 10-15 min, or around 30 to Midtown (if the trains are working). Safety: Outside the building, the area is as safe as it can get in the US. There is a lot of movement at all times of the day. Inside the building, the staff is always attentive to residents and visitors alike, and they constantly monitor all areas of interest. No issues on this front. Demographics: The building has a good mix of people. While most of the residents are either international students or young professionals, there is a fair share of families. The administration does a good job at trying to make it an inclusive place for everyone, and they organize multiple social activities every month that could be shared with kids, partners, or even your pets. Spaces: Amenities are modern, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed, including a fully equipped fitness center, and communal lounges that encourage a sense of community among residents. The outdoor spaces, including the skylounge and the pool are well equipped, and provide a good space to socialize. Routine maintenance is prompt and professional. Interiors: The apartments themselves are spacious, with efficient layouts, ample natural light, and decent appliances. Noise insulation is on the weaker side, but thatās as good as you can get for this type of residence in a city. Leasing: My only slightly negative experience so far was the extenous process of signing the lease. If you are American, or have lived in the US for a while you will be fine (the process is very streamlined). However, as someone that moved from Canada, it was extremely difficult to relocate the needed amount of money given the fact that they only accept ACH transfer from a local account or a US credit card, so I had to make use of the bank account of an acquaintance . Perhaps something the leasing office could work on to make the process more flexible. Overall, 351Marin has been a great home. So far itās given me a comfortable, fun, and secure living environment. I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a high-quality residential...
