This has to be THE worst ER/medical facility I ever set my feet into. If you looking for EMERGENCY care, or care for that matter I would simply avoid. Idk where you gonna go but donât go here. The janitor was the best part of my experience there. Theyâll ignore you until you point out that this is the ER. it just happened to me. Came in asking to be seen, got told to take a seat so I do cause thatâs normal, until it isnt. 20 mins passes. EVERYBODY in there on their phone, i literally can see them all ignoring me, after the 2nd time this nurse passed me, i asked if this is the EMERGENCY room cause at this point Iâm confused on where Iâm at. Only then does the same ppl that saw me come in and eyeing me/ignoring me came to take my information, thatâs correct! I wasnât even triaged when I came in, just the sole patient in the waiting room (or whatever that area was) looking at the same nurses that are looking at me and not helping me. I have to give them a urine sample, cool, I go to the bathroom. I literally gasped. Appalled of how DISGUSTING the restroom is. PEE everywhere, smell even worse, needless to say I immediately came out and ask for another restroom. And I canât go into details but overall, waste of my time, came in scared and in pain, came out scared, in pain AND frustrated by the whole experience. All theyâll do is take a blood test, if that comes out normal, youâre automatically fine. Theyâll tell you thereâs nothing they can do for you. Idk if itâs bc I went at night or not but either way, this experience was unacceptable and unprofessional. Disappointed but...
Read moreThe worst ever. My husband needed help and he wasn't himself. The doctor is the most unprofessional doctor, not sympathetic and patient. One of nurses saying things that shouldn't be said especially when it's open space. They literally kicked him out cause of his not so him behavior. Also they didn't even listen to what he said. Nurses need to listen, listen listen even if a patient repeats. CANT WAIT FOR THE BILL, IM SURE OVERCHARGE.
I could say this much the nurse that helped tried her best but could of done little more. BEING A NURSE IS PATIENCE, TOLERANCE, GOOD LISTENER, UNDERSTANDING AND A LITTLE SYMPATHIC TO PATIENT. Every patient has their reason and behavior of the way they act. Some are patient and some are erratic (JCMC STILL HELPED PATIENT THAT ARE CRAZY). ONE DAY WE MAY GO CRAZY LIKE THAT OR SOMEONE FAMILY MEMBER SO BE UNDERSTANDING AND "PATIENT" TO PATIENT
Wonder why they almost got bought out 2 years ago. People say they are great but are they? It all depends on situations of each patient. Some just want medicines I'm sure. Also it's not that busy compare to JCMC and...
   Read moreAmazing experience, highly recommend.
I injured my finger (bad dislocation) so like anyone I went to multiple urgent cares on a Saturday and no one could help me. I needed X-rays before they would look at it but no one had X-rays available (I know right?).
With no where else to turn and the guidance of a kind woman on the streets of jersey city, I determined I needed to go to the ER. Boy am I glad I did.
I found the best ER in town. Christ Hospital.
Upon my entrance I was welcomed with open arms. The staff were delightful. Amazing attitudes and so eager to help. I felt like a priority and when your health/wellbeing is on the line, that matters. The doc treated me with excellent care and cured my ailment like magic. He was extremely efficient while still making me feel like a priority.
Every person I interacted with had a smile on their face and it lightened the entire experience for me. Instead of being in a place of sadness and pain, I found myself in a place of joy and hope. Thank you Christ Hospital of Jersey...
