Circle Line Statue of Liberty — Local services in Jersey City

Statue Sunset Cruise: I have never been more disappointed or frustrated in a tour experience. People cut in line and went ahead of everyone after waiting over 45 minutes in line. I didn’t get the discount that was promised for my drink prior to getting on the boat. We lined up early so we could get a seat on top - what a waste of time that was. Everyone decided to come up the top, without even having a seat, and stood up around the whole edge of the boat. Every view was blocked, and I didn’t even get to see the Statue of Liberty because all these inconsiderate people wouldn’t move and let anyone else get a photo or have a look. Standing up was no good as no one would move. The assistant was hopeless and gave absolutely no direction and had no control of anyone. People were stumbling everywhere standing on my feet and bumping into me in my seat. 0/10 would not...

On balance, this was not what we hoped it would be, but more importantly it consumed a huge amount of time for a smal amount of pleasure. Despite booking a specific time slot, we were expected to queue for 2 hours to get through security (in searing heat with no shade). On enquiry we were told that this is a normal situation for this service. Once we finally made it to the boat and Liberty island we did not have enough time left to visit Ellis Island. This was such an awesome experience and honestly, Debbie was such an incredible tour guide. She was such an awesome lady from Brooklyn and I really did enjoy hearing her story.
