We recently stayed at Liberty Landing for two evenings. The facility and staff are excellent. Shout out to Kyle, Kwan's and Janer for providing excellent service (if I got the names incorrect, my apologies). We have a new boat and they were superb at helping us dock and depart. We got fuel at the docks there and the staff efficiently also checked us in to the marina during the process. The floating docks make getting in and out of your vessel easy and managing lines a breeze. There is a mariners private lounge with great facilities (showers, business. center, etc). The view to NY harbor is amazing and the restaurants are very good. We had a nice meal at one of the restaurants. There is effortless ferry service to Manhattan and I would also suggest going across and walking in Jersey City. We ate at Lighthouse Cafe - it was excellent as well. From the facility, you can walk/run for miles enjoying the splendor of the harbor Liberty Landing is not an inexpensive venue, but it is WELL WORTH the cost. When we return to NYC harbor, I will unhesitatingly stay there!! Won't even research other items because our experience was "as good as it gets"

There is a lot to like a like at this marina but some of it depends on what dock your at. We we're on the T head on M dock. Being that far down its a bit of hike to the marina office or the marina store. But being on M dock its not a noisy as being across the channel from some of the restaurants closer to fuel dock and office. But the whole area is noisy, its a metropolis. The marina store is well stocked with basic boat stuff, snacks, and beer + wine. You can catch ferries to NY City easily from the Marina and also walk to the boats that take you to Ellis Island and the statue of Liberty. There is a grocery store about a mile walk from the marina as well. You do get a EXCELLENT view of NYC at night!

This was a return trip to Liberty Landing. As always, the team that cares for you is excellent. We had a wonderful docking experience (support), excellent slip, and always enjoy the view. The restaurants are good, and the marina is a short ferry hop (literally 2 min) from Jersey City that also has fun restaurants and a cool vibe. The ferry then transports to Manhattan. So it is easy to pop across and visit the city. There are also excellent walking trails with scenic views of Manhattan, Statue of Liberty, and Ellis Island We plan to be back soon.

It's hard to know where to start when writing about Liberty Landing Marina because there are just so many great things about it! The location is unbeatable - both for the convenience of a quick mid-passage stopover or a multi-day transient stay. Floating docks, easy access, and 24-hour fuel are just a few of the benefits of the marina itself. There is also a fully stocked ship's store, an excellent service department, and a Captain's Lounge with the cleanest bathroom facilities you will find anywhere! And did I mention the views? The New York City skyline, the Statue of Liberty and the Verrazano Bridge, and all of the vistas that the East River and Hudson River have to offer. Strolling through Liberty State Park is a joy, and there is a sense of safety morning, noon, and night. And I would be remiss if I didn't mention that there is no better spot to view July 4th fireworks from. But what really sets Liberty Landing Marina apart from all others is the people. From Janer (the Dockmaster) and Ivan (ship's store manager) and everyone in between, you won't find a nicer, more knowledgeable and helpful group of people anywhere! Even more impressive is the length of time that many of these people have worked there. I've been going to Liberty Landing for years and there is always a familiar face to greet me! If you ever have the opportunity to spend a few days in New York Harbor don't look to stay anywhere else -- you won't be...

The best place to observe Manhattan. Beautiful views! The Marina has no current and is calm. Very quiet at night. The docks are very nice and steady. The bathrooms are the best we’ve have ever seen! Extremely clean! The only reason I am not giving this 5 stars is the extremely rude And grumpy dock master. We arrived 5 min after 5 and he was extremely rude about it. Very annoyed that we would like the key to the bathroom. One of the keys never worked but he was so nasty we didn’t want to annoy him more to get another. They might have had Wi_Fi for guest but could not find any info on that. I finally asked around to see if anyone knew where the laundry machines were and was told it was in the welcome pack. We never received any welcome pack And again not comfortable asking. Yes there were laundry machines and you have to go through a fabulous ship store to get them. Staff at the ship store were super polite. There are two restaurants located at the marinas that are only open at night with great food. We also ordered grub hub and...
