I lived at CMPND by JSQ for 4 years and had a wonderful experience. The apartment with it's floor to ceiling windows had the most beautiful view of the NYC I have ever seen (Actually second to the roof of the building which you can see not just all of the NYC skyline, but all the way to Newark NJ as well.)

The app to pay rent was extremely easy to use and was also used for putting in maintenance requests for any help I needed in my apartment. I even got help mounting my television onto the wall, it was quick easy and the staff were super friendly and helpful.

The management team would often throw social gatherings on the roof, giving food drink and entertainment to encourage community building and fun! I met some great friends in the Residential Lounge with memories I'll keep for life. Also there's a great area for grilling as you look out at NYC.

In addition, The gym was great for winter time, having multiple treadmills, a peloton, a row machine, as well as a whole bunch of dumbells and free weights. I never found myself waiting in a line to use and the gym was always cleaned regularly and kept fresh. I can honestly say, I benched by PR in that gym!

The party room on the second floor I used several times to host larger parties and found it was great for my crew of 20+ people to gather for fun with a big screen TV and giant couch for watching or playing games.

Overall, my experience with CMPND was great and I enjoyed my stay here. I'd encourage anyone to check it out for residential or even for one of their coworking spaces.

The worst building I ever rented. I rented 2 spaces an office and apartment. The office floor internet never works and the printers are always out of service. The build is dirty and only gets vacuumed on the floors once a month. The elevators are always not working. The walls on all the floors are scratched up and holes that are never patched up. The front door entrance doors don’t work and don’t lock sometimes which allow anyone into the building and is completely unsafe. The finishes are very cheap, from the paint, floors, to the appliances. Even my ac stop working during a heatwave and the maintenance people didn’t know how to help. Also to top it off they test alarms in the building starting at 7am for hours. They have no consideration for the tenants or give any kind of notice for doing this.
