Venti Italian Specialties — Restaurant in Jersey City

RUN, don’t walk to Venti!!!! My boyfriend and I are absolutely obsessed with all the delicious choices here. We were so excited to have a nice spot for a decent sandwich open up near us, but when they finally did open their doors; we were BLOWN AWAY. Not only is the staff super chill and knowledgeable but their subs exceeded our expectations. They are HUGE snd generous so they are perfect to share with a friend, a neighbor, or even to munch on the next day. Something fun about venti, is you crave it ALL THE TIME. While that’s not great for the bank (even though they are totally affordable) , on the days you do decide to go; their pictures on social media give you a new thing to try! I would like to say in the past year we’ve had everything…but sometimes you just have to go back for your favorites and we’re lucky that they create new specials all the time so we will never run out of things to jump at. Surprised it’s even taken us this long to review(sorry), but if you are even slightly considering a meal here, grab a buddy, split a sandwich and a refreshing Italian soda and instantly fall in love. A much-needed addition to a growing neighborhood.

With limited options in the immediate area serving fresh, quality food, Venti is a much-welcomed addition. Renowned for their success as a food truck, it is great to see this establishment transition to a brick and mortar location. Upon entering, the aroma of a traditional Italian deli takes over. The staff is great and is quick to prepare your order.

I highly recommend their classic chicken cutlet sandwich. Comprising generous slices of fresh mozzarella and in-house roasted red peppers, encased within a freshly baked semolina roll, the combination of flavors and textures is unbeatable. You also can't go wrong with any of their variations of this sandwich, , with the spicy cutlet being a particular delight for those seeking a zestier experience. After having incredible sandwiches from here several times, my now husband and I knew Venti would be perfect to provide day of catering for our wedding party (gotta make sure everyone eats well on such a long grueling day). We worked with Joe to get several trays of sandwiches delivered to the hotel we were getting ready at in Weehawken last weekend and they were AMAZING! All of our friends and family kept asking where they were from and happily took leftovers home with them. The chicken bruschetta was definitely the favorite.

We also had a member of the group with a severe seafood allergy, so the Venti team ensured there was no cross contamination with any of their Caesar dressing/offerings which was extremely appreciated.
