The Exchange Place station is located on the Jersey City waterfront. While the Grove Street Station enjoys a location adjacent to much Jersey City's eateries, bars and etc, Exchange Place Station is in a more business oriented area and a tad quieter. The station is ADA compliant, which includes extra large elevators. It's good these elevators are extra large as the platforms are rather far down. While not as bad as some stations on the Washington Metro, if you're nervous about heights I do not recommend taking the elevator or stairs. Service is provided by the Newark to World Trade Center line at all times, while additional weekday service is provided by the Hoboken to World Trade Center line. Various NJ Transit bus service can be found on nearby Christopher Columbus Drive and Montgomery Street adjacent to station. However, the most convenient connection is the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail Stop at the intersection of Hudson St and Montgomery St which provides convenient access to Hoboken Terminal, Bayonne, North Bergen and more. Read moreBecause of the weekly train construction, you get free tickets for the ferry and it is super fun to ride. The scenery and the view make it worth it, though the trip takes a bit longer, it is still worth it!
After you get off the path at exchange place, they give you tickets only on weekends, get on the boat and enjoy the ride! It is a clean area and looks very fancy, luckily, as soon as you get off to NYC your in the shopping area of NYC, extremely expensive, but some window shopping is enough.

Just take the train that says WTC( World Trade Center) or 33rd Street. 33rd Street takes you more up into NYC but takes a longer amount of time.
