I’m a huge steak connoisseur. From USDA prime dry-aged to A5 Wagyu. I had them all. Or at least I thought I did, until I tried the Argentine ribeye sourced from Pampita. Bloody hell! It was insane! The best value and potentially the best steak altogether! Normally, I’m not a fan of grass-fed steaks because they just don’t taste good. However, this is different. It’s truly the only grass-fed steak I had that offers great taste and harmony between muscle tissue and fat. These steaks smell great too. And don’t even get me started on Pampita’s customer care. To say that they went above and beyond to ensure everything worked out with my order would be understating their dedication to this craft. They over-nighted my order to Chicago and everything was solid frozen when it arrived. It was packaged very well. Now I’m placing an order for my parents. This place is my hidden gem from now on. It’s extremely difficult to source high-end imported grass-fed meat in the US. My local butchers carry none of it. Because heaven forbid beef tastes good and is healthy at the same time. I really don't want to share this experience but , i have to! . I am absolutely, positively, in love with this place! This Argentinian meat shop , should be on everyone's mind, when you want out of this world! meats to cook at home . FRESH ! is an understatement , staff should be considered artist this place is no butcher shop , it's on another level they are so friendly and informative . I didn't just buy meats. i bought an experience . Im not gonna go any further because, i would like to keep this hidden jem in jersey city to my self . The other day, I ordered from Pampita Meats online, I couldn’t be more satisfied with the service and the cut of meat. I ordered a ribeye cut in the afternoon and it was promptly delivered the next day in a nicely insulated bag with an ice pack. The ribeye was a beautiful piece of meat that was so big, I was able to cut it in half for two separate meals. I grilled the ribeye to a perfect medium rare, and it was juicy, tender and delicious.
