Nana Thai — Restaurant in Jersey City

Was very excited to try a new Thai place. The food is not good at all. One of my curry puffs was still cold as I bit into it but I decided to eat the other ones instead … still willing to give it a chance but that’s where I should have known. Then, I ordered the massaman curry and it was not good at all. The “potatoes” are actually soggy French fries which threw me off.. it should’ve said ff on the menu. The curry flavor is bland and the chicken had no taste what so ever. I should have known when I walked in and not one person was in there. It was awkwardly silent in there the whole time. I explained to the server that I wasn’t a fan of the curry and asked if he could possibly switch out my meal— I didn’t want to ask for anything free but was willing to possibly try something else because I’m hungryyy. He told me no because then it would come out of their pocket….I literally had a whole full bowl of curry I left behind and now have to go somewhere else to eat because I’m still starving. I wish they would’ve tried to work something out, the food was absolutely inedible and I’m not a person to ever return food or try to ask for anything free however if you want to keep people coming back please look into good...

I was sooo in the mood for drunken noodles and so I looked up a few places that delivered and had good reviews. Came across Nana on google and seamless and decided to try them out. Called and placed the order to avoid $3.00 delivery fee on seamless but they still charged once I saw receipt at delivery. Thanks for the heads up...or not. Order was accurate: crab ragoons and drunken noodles, mild. Upon tasting ragoons I was surprised to find how flavorless they were, Even with the sweet/sour sauce it came with. This sauce appeared to be watered down as well. Ok fine, let's just go for noodles. Again, looked like typical drunken noodles but it was completely flavorless. I mixed them up and still nothing. I could taste the mild spice but nothing else. I was so disappointed and had to add soy sauce just to give it some flavor. Maybe this was an off night (3.8.2020) but unfortunately too many other places to try to give this...

Let me preface this by saying that I never (ever) write reviews, but I've ordered a few times from here now and I can't stop raving about it to everyone I know. Times are tough so I hope my review might help someone else order from here!

The food from here is consistently fresh, hot, and delicious. I the love drunken noodles, the pad thai is amazing, and anything fried is fresh and light, especially the egg rolls. The vegetables are cooked to perfection, crispy string beans and tender carrots-- flavorful sauces that can pack a punch if you like your food spicy like I do!

For the price you get a very decent amount of food (For me it's good for 2 or even 3 meals!) and the delivery service has been on time, if not early every time. You will not regret ordering anything from Nana Thai and you'll keep coming...
