Venue 845 — Local services in Jersey City

When I was looking for a venue to host my 30th Birthday Party in Jersey City, I quickly became frustrated with the lack of affordable and flexible options. From astronomical down payments just to reserve a few tables at seemingly "trendy" bars, to being told that I would not be able to have my own theme or choose my own music, I quickly found myself feeling defeated in what was already a stressful process. I came across Venue 845 accidentally during a Google search and was intrigued by the glowing reviews. I didn't know then that I had stumbled upon a gem. From the beginning everything was seamless; the polite initial call with Reshma (the owner) to the follow up call with Franca (The Manager and Event Planner) everything seemed to just fit. Let me be clear - Venue 845 is more than just a venue - It is a life experience and FRANCA is a magician who makes dreams come true! We met multiple times to discuss my vision (I had a World Royalty theme ), party flow and execution. She never once made me feel like what I wanted wasn't doable. In fact, quite the opposite...she mellowed me out and one up'd it all! I chose to take her up on her decorating and planning services and the rest was royal history. It came out perfectly. Everyone who attended was in awe at how beautiful it all turned out. Franca and her wonderful staff assisted with serving food and drinks, as well as set up and clean up. My family and friends had a fabulous time and the entire event went off as planned without a hitch. I could not have asked for anything better. So if you are searching for a cool space that can be transformed in to anything you want and an organizer that will make your dreams come true call FRANCA! You will not be disappointed. We had our baby shower and we couldn’t have been happier with how everything turned out. Setting up for an event can be stressful but Franca the party vendor for Venue845 made it a breeze. She took care of everything during the event including the setup. There was a bit of miscommunication with third party vendors arriving too early for the setup but Franca quickly fixed the situation and accommodated for them to enter the building. During the event her staff was amazing! Her bartender kept my guests happy and as well accommodated my guests with parking. We noticed there were unfamiliar faces parking in the limited lot but when I brought it to their attention they quickly made sure that only my guests were allowed to park there which saved us the headache. My guests loved the venue and were pleasantly surprised and kept complimenting how great of a time they had. We recently had our Mom’s 60th Birthday at Venue 845, which was fantastic. From the first encounter with Reshma, we knew we had picked the right place. Reshma was the venue contact and she was always pleasant and prompt. The venue has a main room and then and entrance/drink/food/ hang out area which was perfect for our event. The space is quite large and our party had about 50 guest, but 60 would fit comfortably. Franca is the party planner and gave us great ideas for the space and décor. Franca also rents tables cloths and chair covers which really makes the space complete. The day of the party we had 2 women that helped us for start to finished, Rosemary and Crystal. They were rockstars. Rosemary helped us set up in the morning and the night of the event was awesome with Crystal. They helped serve drinks/food and with clean up. The party was definitely a success with their help. I would definitely recommend this location for those looking to plan a party. Great...
