I'm only giving them 1 star because you have to in order to write a review. I took my 2 kids and myself to the Copperfield location and spent at least $600 with. Let's start off by saying. If you have Medicaid RUN! They treat you like you are a scum to the earth just because Medicaid is considered for the less fortunate our elderly. They are all about money and not about the well being of you eyes. I tried to brush off the rude comments I gotten from the first initial visit when I took my son to get his yearly examination. The optometrist really rubbed me the wrong way and it felt as if her questioning on my son eye health wasn't getting met, mind you I take my kids to the eye doctor EVERY year. My son has a lazy eye and is supposed to be wearing his glasses all the time and a patch on his good eye to make his bad eye stronger although I can admit we wasn't keeping up with the daily patching the "optometrist" repeatedly asked me " why haven't you been doing so" with a nasty attitude, not allowing me to even justify my problem with not being able to keep up with helping him remember to patch his eye.I then paid for my daughter glasses which she has a stigmatism and I even got a couple of upgrades on her lenses which totaled in $200, they took almost a month in a half to get back, and I was informed they would take a month to be finished. I then didn't even get the call that they was finish I just so happened to be their for another reason and happened to ask the nice man in the front was my daughter glasses ready. Upon receiving the glasses the arms to the glasses was already wobbly, Although it was my fault that I should have reported the problem but I assumed they would catch it and proceed to fix the problem. Fast forward 2 months later, the arm broke on the glasses, I went to get them fixed as to I have a warranty and the receptionist/ floor worker/ assistant informed me they couldn't be fixed because of it wasn't a screw issue. So I politely explain I understood and walked away. This story can actually go on forever. So I'm going to shorten it. Over the span of 3 months I've called and made a office visit at least 8 times between getting me and my kids prescription from them and trying to get my daughter's $700 glasses that I paid $400 out of pocket WITH insurance and warranty fixed. AGAIN IF YOU HAVE MEDICAID INSURANCE AND PLAN ON TAKING YOU WHOLE FAMILY THIER TO THIS LOCATION COPPERFIELD RUN! RUN! RUN!......But the man that sits in the front is nice. Ms Erica and the optometrist lady are very rude! Replace the...

Edit: Bedore I start, I want to say that I initially gave 5 stars because the lady I mentioned told me sheād give me a discount if I gave them a 5 star review. Iām changing my review from 5 stars to 1 because of my recent visit with this place. The exam went fine and the staff were friendly but afterwards was what made me change my mind about coming here. I was told the latest Iād get my contacts was 2 weeks so I waited and didnāt hear anything after 2 weeks. I had to call to ask about my contacts and my brothers glasses and they informed me that the glasses were ready but the contacts wouldnāt be until the following Tuesday.
I still didnāt hear anything from them after over a month from my initial appt date and I, again, had to call and ask for the status of my contacts. They informed me it was an issue with my insurance not paying the rest of the claim (so why couldnāt they have called me to let me know?) and offered to give me just 6 months of my contacts then the rest after the insurance issue. I decided to pay for whatever was left to pay for so I can get all 12 months. I called my insurance and they informed me that there shouldnāt be anything else left to pay since I already paid for my out of pocket expenses, they already handled the claim, and said that they didnāt get a ācorrected claimā that Pearle Vision said was sent āmultiple timesā. Of course Iām gonna be upset with the whole back and forth. I believe my insurance and honestly think that this clinic messed something up and couldnāt admit it.
Recently, Pearle Vision told me that my insurance paid for the rest and I can get my refund but when I went to their clinic, they already closed up and it was not even 6 PM yet.
Honestly, I had no communication from this place regarding my contacts and I had to call every single time to check on the status. And closing early before the actual close time? Ridiculous. Plus, after reading other reviews, it seems to me that they are definitely doing an insurance scam. Iām not coming back nor would I recommend this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDid a yearly check up, already knowing I have bad astigmatism, I wanted to try daily contacts, around $180 for contact exam, thankfully I had insurance so I ended paying half of that. Did the exam and had to wait almost 2 weeks for my trials to come in. I informed them through the text message reminder that I needed to reschedule, they still put me down as no show. I picked up my trials was seen by another doctor, Then I realized that the contacts I had on were NOT Dailies, the doctor informed me that my prescription doesnāt come in dailies, the next week after trying on my trials I had to reschedule again, I show up and a young lady said that I had too many no shows and that they were going to charge me $50 if I wanted to be seen by the original doctor that did my eye exam, upset I asked for the manager but the manager never came to speak to me, but they did let me get seen by the doctor thankfully, she tells me there nothing we can do about dailies and that im basically stuck with my trials. if someone would of informed me that from the beginning, I wouldn't have gotten contacts. I would have gotten glasses but even at that they were trying to up charge me with their products. I know that my prescription doesn't go over -4 I only have problems seeing from far away, they were trying to sell me Hi-index when I know Polycarbonate does the job. I was disappointed really for the lack of communication and how I paid for trials and they couldn't even offer an alternative brand or maybe just shaving the prescription down enough to were I can get dailies, I just need contacts for sports and working out. No complaints on the opticians, I just thought going with a company related to Luxottica wouldnāt try to scam you or at least keep the promise they make when you pay that fitting fee. I was just going to go some where else but I feel like I can help someone to avoid this headache. The first thing I told my doctor is that im always super busy and the last thing I want to do is have time wasted, they scheduled me at 1 and said that the doctor was eating lunch when I showed up so I had to come back. Its almost unbelievable how many red flags...
