Hi, everyone! My name is Yvonne and I am the daughter of the previous owners, Hai and Chi. My parents came to Houston with the dream of providing comforting, delicious Vietnamese food and building a life for my brother and I to achieve our dreams. They are truly the hardest working, selfless people I believe you will ever meet. I am incredibly proud of them for embracing all the hardships of life with incredible resilence and grace. Moreover, for the past 20 years, I've witnessed how they have fostered community over our shared love for a bowl of pho. I am grateful for every one's support of my parents, whether you've been to our restaurant once or have been lifelong friends of my family and I. Thank you all for helping my parents accomplish their American Dream. My parents are happily retired. My brother holds a senior position at his company, and I am attending Berkeley Law School--none of which would have been possible without this restaurant. Thank you!

Very clean restaurant with attentive staff. I drove into Houston for lunch and have been wanting to come back here. It was a long drive, but it was definitely worth it. We got the appetizer sampler that was enough for 3 or 4 ppl. It was just me and Sherry Ann, so it was a lot of food for just us two. It came with chicken satay skewers, fried rolls, and fresh spring rolls. We also had the fried rice and the pho with brisket, eye round, and tendon. I like the pho very satisfying and full of flavor. The tea and iced coffee were strong and rich, both great things. I wish this place was closer to me as I would be a regular complete with a favorite table tucked away where no one can hear me slurp my noodles.

Service is very good. They remember to give you everything you need (utensils, etc.) and they always get our order right. And your order comes out in no time at all. The workers are friendly and the dining area is clean. In the past when we visited, we truly enjoyed everything they served, but when we visited for dinner yesterday (12/20/17), I was disappointed because only the soup was flavorful; the rice dish with seafood & vegetables was bland and had too much cornstarch in it. Even the spring roll was so-so. Still a pleasant experience though because of the great service. They accept credit cards, including AMEX. And it’s right next to a Half Price Bookstore.

This place could end wars.

Had the pleasure of swinging by this place with a buddy yesterday after he demanded we go there. Upon arrival, we were met immediately with a very fun and friendly staff. I opened the menu and was pleased to find that not only were the prices good, but holy smokes... it was going to take a bit to look through that menu because they have got some options!

Good price? Nice place? Friendly staff? Huge menu?

They were off to a great start.

Apparently, they must employ a chef who also seconds as a psychic because they had to know what I was going to order before I got there. In almost no time at all, this gorgeous dish is served and the smell was purely intoxicating.

Then came that magical moment.

Oh my gosh...

I don't care how good of a cook you think you are. You can't beat that cook. If you have seen When Harry Met Sally, then you about understand my reaction. It was phenomenal.

Upon checking out, I had the delight of speaking with the impressively friendly and funny owner/manager. He offered me some of their candy that was sitting in a dish and you know what? Those little suckers were addicting as well. I recommend the orange flavor.

Will I visit this location again? I'm already planning my next trip. You should too, you'll be pleasantly...

I use to love their food and staff but lately it seems they always get my order wrong. I ordered this dish with tofu and veggies and I see my plate and think how it should be in a bowl because the sauce is running off the plate. Looked very messy, but I ignored it and took a bite. It tasted okay but then my second bite I got a mouth full of crab. I don’t eat animal products. I specifically told the waitress that. I was very sad. I spit it out in front of her. She seemed irritated with me when I said I didn’t want the plate. She takes the plate and I tell her I ordered tofu and veggies. She showed me the ticket so it was obvious the kitchen got it wrong. So I waited for a new plate and it never came.(20 minutes later) I am frustrated at this point so I go to pay for my other items and they still try to charge me for the plate I never received. It was really weird and unprofessional. I don’t think I will be returning to that location. It’s not difficult to be kind to customers. It’s not difficult to fix a mess up, and definitely not difficult to apologize which...
