We stumbled across Funville earlier this summer (thank you OTP Mama for the tip!) It quickly became a favorite play spot for our toddler and was a life savor for us on those grueling hot summer days.

The place is AMAZING - with all sorts of toys/sensory exploration/playground fun you need to keep a toddler (or crew of toddlers!) entertained for hours on end. They also offer various packages - that you can take advantage of through their membership OR NOT. (I personally appreciate that flexibility in a membership/subscription dominant world) Of course they have birthday party packages, and we just hosted our son’s 2nd birthday party there.

I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect - but it was an amazing day that went off without a hitch. The owner, Jen, went above and beyond with the decorations. All I had to do was share the number of attendees and theme, and she took care of the rest (…and had it decorated better than I ever could have!!) Jen’s professionalism - which permeates through her entire staff - is top notch and the Funville team’s customer service makes party day enjoyable for everyone (parents too!). The pizza that’s included as part of the birthday package is delicious - and also happens to be right next store, in case you need to add on any last minute additions. (Have I mentioned the convenience of this experience??) My husband and I were carefree from start to finish and it really changed the entire day for us - it was totally worth it. They also took care of the gift bags AND had a special gift for the birthday boy.

THANK YOU Jen and the Funville Factory team for making this such a wonderful day - and planning experience - for my family! I absolutely recommend this place for anyone with kiddos (toddlers are the sweet spot, but I feel like kids up to 7 or 8 would also have a ball). And if you’re looking for a fun space for your next event, and a professional/customer-focused staff to help you execute, you’ve...

I have some suggestions.

  1. More light -- some corners are very dark, brighter light would make them inviting and also make the whole place "feel cleaner."
  2. Fewer toys -- some toys need more space than others and there isn't enough space for them like the toddler slides and the ride-on cars. There is also a lot of small toy clutter that ends up all over the floor like the wooden puzzle pieces and kitchen/food toys. So not only are there lots of kids and adults, but staff has to constantly come onto the floor to straighten up.
  3. Remove several set pieces - The "mini clinic" was empty in most of the 2 hours I was there. Removing it would let more light in and give more space for play. Neither did I see any kids playing with the confusing structure for baby dolls. It was clearly missing pieces and did not lend to the imagination for play. Kids only wanted to play with the baby dolls, so remove the whole thing, but save the dolls. I also did not see a single child play with the penguin arch, the wooden train set, or the giant Lite Brite. Removing these would also give more space. Put them in storage and maybe rotate through them throughout the year? Fewer toys and removing these set pieces can allow for better theming for play areas, so the place feels less cluttered and it will feel significantly less crowded.
  4. Fewer admittees - With the amount of toys, busy times feel very overcrowded especially if there are older kids and adults attending smaller children. There isn't enough room to play without bumping into others and it causes distress to children who need a little more space. Either remove many of the larger toys or allow fewer customers at any given time.

My 14-month old was overstimulated after leaving. I think considering these changes could help with her and everyone. It's rare to find places where small...

We just celebrated our daughter’s fourth birthday at Funville Factory and it could not have been more perfect. From the moment we arrived, the owners were right there welcoming us and helping set everything up, making sure we had everything we needed. They even accommodated us with juice boxes, the cutest Super Kitties themed plates, and a pile of stickers that the kids went crazy over.

The place itself is a little smaller than some of the bigger indoor playgrounds, but honestly that was a huge plus. There was so much variety packed into the space with swings, slides, pretend houses, and climbing areas, and because it was cozy, it was easy to keep an eye on all the kids without feeling overwhelmed. The owners were constantly walking around, making sure everyone was happy and calmly stepping in if two kids looked like they might get into a squabble. It felt so safe and thoughtfully run.

The party room looked amazing when we walked in, like a mini Super Kitties world made just for our daughter. They paid attention to every little detail, making sure every child had a seat, plenty of juice, and a stack of stickers to take home. It made the whole party feel really special and personal.

Funville Factory is perfect for younger kids, especially around two to six years old. It seems like they do not really accept kids older than six, which honestly makes sense because the space is so perfectly tailored for the little ones. If you have a four-year-old like we do, this place feels like a dream.

What really stood out the most was how personally involved the owners were the entire time. They were not just running the place, they were making sure our daughter and all her friends were having the best time. We could not have asked for a better experience and we will...

We visited Funville Factory in Johns Creek and really enjoyed it with our toddler. Soft floors, padded play areas, and a clean, calm layout made it feel easy and safe for little ones. From the train ride to the wall play and coloring areas, everything felt thoughtfully designed. A great indoor play option for parents with toddlers. 👉 Follow along as we discover places made for little ones. #JohnsCreekGa #metroatlanta #ToddlerFriendly #indoorplayground #familyfriendly @FunvilleFactory
