I recently had the pleasure of dining at Egg Harbor Café located at 10270 Medlock Bridge Rd in Johns Creek, GA, and it was a delightful experience from start to finish. This cozy and inviting café is the perfect spot for a leisurely breakfast or brunch.
From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The décor is charming, with a farmhouse chic vibe that makes you feel right at home. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure I was comfortable and well taken care of throughout my visit.
The menu at Egg Harbor Café is extensive, offering a variety of breakfast and lunch options that cater to all tastes. I decided to try their famous Southern Shrimp and Grits, and it did not disappoint. The grits were creamy and perfectly seasoned, and the shrimp was cooked to perfection. The dish was flavorful and satisfying, leaving me eager to try more items on the menu.
Another standout was the Avocado Toast, which was fresh and delicious, topped with perfectly ripe avocado, tomatoes, and a drizzle of balsamic glaze. It was a healthy yet indulgent option that I thoroughly enjoyed. For those with a sweet tooth, their pancakes are a must-try. Fluffy and generously portioned, they are the perfect treat to start your day.
One of the things I appreciated most about Egg Harbor Café is their commitment to using high-quality, fresh ingredients. You can really taste the difference in every bite. They also offer a variety of gluten-free and vegetarian options, making it a great spot for those with dietary restrictions.
The service was prompt and friendly, with the staff checking in regularly to make sure I had everything I needed. The attention to detail and genuine hospitality made my dining experience even more enjoyable.

Read moreThis was my first visit here and I ordered breakfast. The restaurant had great atmosphere and was well decorated. It's a cozy and charming place that offers a relaxing dining experience. The parking lot, landscaping and exterior were immaculate which are signs of good management and ownership. We had to wait 5 - 10 minutes before being paged for seating and were seated immediately afterwards by a very courteous hostess. Our server came out immediately and she was well groomed and super courteous. She introduced herself and took our drink order. She got our drinks out within 5 minutes of being seated and took our order when she returned with them. We recieved our orders within 10-15 minutes after that, but she did check in twice in that time period and topped off our beverages. Overall she did a great job.The food came out hot and was prepared very well in all aspects from the actual cooking to the dish arrangement on the plate. My muffin was toasted just right at least to my liking, which is when the top just starts to brown and was served with a very tasty homemade jam. The eggs were very fresh and had a lot of flavor which is much different than the mass produced eggs that you buy from the grocery. I didn't care much for the way that my scrambled eggs were prepared as they cook them as a mix of sheet and fluff and I prefer my scrambled eggs all fluffy. My preference in texture aside the eggs were delicious. I'm giving this review 4 out of 5 stars based solely on overall affordability. This place is on the higher end of the spectrum as far as pricing for breakfast goes, so if you're just hungry and want to keep your expenditures down then this might not be the best option. I recommend this place as the overall experience probably...
Read moreWent to eat there today. Food was pretty good but the service was terrible. The man that I’m guessing is the manager (he was seating people) was killer- he and another male server pretty much ran the entire restaurant. I frequent the one in Sandy Springs and they are much more attentive and kind. No joke, I had to stand up and flag someone down THREE times because my waitress was no where to be seen. She simply took our order and then wasn’t seen again until it was time to drop off the check. I asked the busboy for something because I couldn’t wave anyone else down (servers would make eye contact and look away) and he told me his job is to clean the tables and went back to cleaning... I work at a restaurant.. that is simply unacceptable. If a guest asks you for something, either you do it or go get someone who can do it. You don’t say “that’s not my job. Find someone else.” I‘m sure it wasn’t his intention to be so rude. But instead I had to get up and stand next to the kitchen door waiting for someone to come help me and finally I just went up to the cashier and asked her to help me. THREE TIMES!!! I had to fight to get service THREE FREAKING TIMES! Once for salt, once for an extra side of hollandaise, and once for a to go cup for my coffee. What’s the point of a server if I’m having to get up and get everything myself!!!!!!!! Again, great food. Terrible service. I know I sound so pretentious... but seriously I felt like I was at work!...
