The food is excellent. I can’t say enough good things about the food.
The issue is the service. Every time I come here, there is a 50/50 chance that something will happen with the service. If you come here within the first 30 minutes of opening, there probably won’t be anyone to make a sandwich. There have been times where I’ve been here at 8am and waiting on a sandwich for well over 20 minutes when I’m the only person there and when I get someone’s attention, they tell me that they don’t have anyone at work for sandwiches at the moment. If that’s an issue, let me know while I’m ordering and not 20 minutes AFTER I have already ordered. Honestly, no excuse for that.
I was in the other day for a sandwich around lunch time. There was someone else in line in front of me who ordered a sandwich as well. They got their food very quickly. I ordered a Philly and I expected to be in and out. I was standing around for about 15 minutes until I asked the sandwich person behind the counter if she had an order for a Philly and she informed me she had no orders other than a catering order she was working on. Soon after, the woman behind the counter apologized and within a couple of minutes, my sandwich was ready.
The food is amazing. The bakery is genuinely some of the best. The bread, the pastries, the breakfast sandwiches are delicious. What’s awful is...
Read moreGreat Harvest is located in John's Creek, GA. It's a local bakery and staple of the community with a loyal fanbase and following.
They serve pretty much what you would expect of a bakery. They offer a variety of dishes on the menu for those stopping by to grab a meal. They also sell their own dough that you can but to take home and bake yourself. The dough does tend to sell out fast so try to be on your A game if you want to get it. They sale the bread by itself as well that are fresh and can be taken home the day of, this is popular option as well.
The sandwiches are pretty good here. Most because of the fresh bread they use. They can be eaten with a side like soup, salad, or chips. Haven't had bad sandwich here if I think about it.
Overall, great spot for some quality bread and a nice simple meal. Definitely...
Read moreEnjoyed getting some stuff to go. Very slow service. Allowing a person in line ahead of me to spend 10 minutes asking questions. I’m not asking for the Seinfeld soup kitchen episode, but come on. Manage them a pinch. Employees don’t understand the history. They have been there since 2003. Kind of deer in headlights. My mother goes there regularly since they opened. They should know a little historical significance. That’s management sharing with employees. Great stuff as always. Got a few things. Always will go back. Prices not on stuff in fridge like Buffalo cheese dip had to ask. Many prices on items missing. Many, many missed prices. Will...
