I just got back from this not too long ago and to keep it short, it was actually a really good cafe! First of all, when you walk in- you might see a line that might be.. A bit long.. But it is definitely worth it! There is a trash can near the door, which is convenient. There is a bathroom for each gender in the cafe. Not to mention, there is a nice sitting area on the side. It also has a lot of other tables with nice chairs made with durable material. Next to the chairs, you can find a few baked goods (including cakes in the back). Personally, I didn't get any but there were velvet cakes and a few other goods.. According, to my friend though- it is really good! You can pick up the baked goods while waiting in line! There is also 2 places on the side where they place and give out orders with menus. Useful to look at what there is before getting into the line.
When you arrive at the front of the line, ready to place your order; you will have to read from a little menu thing on a monitor on the table and what tell them what you want. They don't have those fancy screen ordering things yet, but the service is really nice! The people who work there are very kind! I kept.. Forgetting to do steps and uhm as a person who has never in my life tapped a card before- they helped me do that 😭so uhmm yeah that was embarrassing but that was so nice! they also kindly remind you if you forgot anything.. Which, also happened to me.. Ahaha.. Uhm, so don't leave before you get a smoke alarm looking device. It isn't actually a smoke alarm, but oh boy it sure does look like one. The device has your order number on it; being lit up with red leds in the small window of the side of the device. When they have your order ready, they will alarm your device start flashing/blinking. This is really useful! You don't need to listen for your number and you just go up there in the front when your device starts blinking! Just remember to give it back to them too. Anyway, it was pretty decent wait time for my brown sugar boba thing. So, I think that's cool. I do have to tell you though, the boba pearls are.. So SO big! Maybe I'm just not used to big boba pearls but they were soo huge! They kind of blocked the flow of the milk whenever I sucked one up my straw.. Not saying it's bad though, I actually kind of like how big they are lol. Anyway, the cup doesn't have that much to talk about. It has the standard shape and everything. However, it does have something pretty interesting. The hole of the lid is actually closed, so you can shake it and mix it without it spilling everywhere. Once you're done doing shaking it, just push the imprinted area down a bit and then boom! It's open! Heh, I quite like this.
Oh I also want to mention, they also serve slushies with A TON for your buck! My watermelon obsessed friend brought one of those watermelon slush things and oh my god. It was a gallon..! Well, according to her at least. She's stretching the truth- maybe just a bit but it was a lot! Like it was an extra extra large or something! The slushy also had jelly and real watermelon in it! Everything is so cheap in price but so good in quality! The toppings only cost 50 cents each! The one I picked was cheese frost.
Extras: You can follow ChuChat on Instagram and write a review for 5 stars for a free drink. You can also win prizes by spinning a wheel thing. There were pens and some pretty cool stuff. All of this is managed mostly by a very kind hearted person named Allision! She also just has fun and funky vibes.
The environment and atmosphere is really chill and it feels like how you'd feel the perfect cafe feels like! Everyone is smiling, happy, and chit-chatting. People are moving about but it isn't too crowded.
Oh, and the cafe isn't only limited to where they sell their drinks and desserts! Outside of the cafe, to the right- they have a very nice place with some shade with some chairs and tables. You should go sit there and have your meal there if you want a relaxing time. THERE IS A REALLYFUN...

I got a cinnamon twist and oolong milk tea with boba. My sister got a red velvet cupcake. The food was so high quality and tasted awesome. Both my sister and I agreed that the boba was amazing. The cup I got also had a little cover on it so you can block part of the sipping hole while using the other! Very convenient, especially because I'd never seen anything like it before!! We both tasted the cinnamon twist and it tasted really good and well made! It was very very soft and the sweetness with cinnamon flavor was perfect. My sister said it tasted like any other cinnamon twist but more high quality. She said that the cupcake was good too.
The atmosphere was really nice, with a few kids and a lot of young adults or teens sitting around the place. The seats were VERY comfortable and they had varius seating options like wall couches, generic seating, outside seating, private seating, etc etc. It was very lively, especially because it's probably relatively new and opening today but it's not too loud either. The decorations and vibe is very modern with lots of fake plants and wall seperaters, but in a very good way.
The service was also amazing, but I can't say too much because I didn't talk to the cashiers or staff all that much. It's convenient if you don't like to talk too much, but if you do that's fine too. They were very helpful and answered my questions very well. I saw a younger staff member wiping the tables and counters as soon as someone left, so the place was very very clean! You don't need to worry about sanitation that much because of how well they wipe the place.
Overall, this is an awesome place. It's great to have friends over, or just get something for yourself. The food and drinks are very good in quality and the wait time isn't very fast considering how busy it was. Staff members were very nice and helpful....
Read moreIf you’re looking for a boba shop that mysteriously runs out of boba tea, Chuchat is your place! I mean, how does a boba shop run out of boba but still manage to make every other drink on the menu? It’s like going to a pizza place and finding out they only have pasta. But wait, it gets better! Half the drink menu was unavailable, which left me wondering if I should have brought my own ingredients. And speaking of the menu—slow it down, Chuchat! I didn’t realize I needed to be an Olympic speed reader just to order a drink.
Now, let’s talk about the cruffle. If you’ve been looking for a way to give your jaw a serious workout, look no further. I couldn’t tell if I was eating dessert or preparing for a marathon. The mango sago? Well, if you enjoy the taste of mango skin (which I don’t), you’ll be thrilled. It’s like they threw an entire mango in without bothering to peel it. The drink was so heavy and poorly blended that I thought I might need a fork to finish it.
Oh, and let’s not forget the $100 gift card special I got. I’m currently trying to figure out how to spend it, considering half the drinks aren’t even available. Maybe I’ll just come back every week to see if they’ve restocked on boba… or maybe not. Brightside, at least their white bread is edible! Lol!
Chuchat, here’s a tip: rethink your recipes, maybe consider making your cruffles fresh so they taste like food and less like a chew toy. And if something isn’t on your menu, please, just don’t add it. Save us all...
