So…. I gotta say Hobby Lobby has been pretty good so this one star is for one particular aggravation.

I took pictures.

If you read their sign that they have hanging all over the paper studio aisle you will notice the first word on the sign is ALL… since when has “all” not meant all? But it does not mean all items labeled The Paper Studio”. You have to look further to understand that they are misusing the word all.

It says 50% off our everyday prices. Which again I guess you have to work at HL to know what everyday prices are. Anyway it goes on to list the items and then at the very bottom in writing too small for a person over 50 to easily read it says. NO COUPONS OR OTHER DISCOUNTS MAY BE APPLIED TO “YOUR PRICE" OR "REDUCED" ITEMS And still I’m like well this isn’t all but what is it? So we had to find someone to explain what “your price” is. Apparently it’s a separate selection from “all”. If you look at the other two photos the “your price” tag is a yellow label with a red stripe in the middle that says “your price”.

Starting to make sense?

But wait there’s more. I happened to notice that one of the paper creation items was marked with the “your price” label at $12.99 but another of the same item on the same peg hook was marked $5.99 on a “your price” label.

I along with the majority of customers find this sort of inconsistency to be frustrating.

HL could save themselves a lot of grief and prevent customers from going to the competition by making it easy for customers to understand sales and pricing. People have plenty of things to be disappointed about without adding a failed price check at the register every time they go to HL.

I have had this fight several times but I’ve never had a Hobby Lobby employee that was able to explain it to my understanding. So today I had a few minutes and I figured it out on my own but it took some time which is something most of us don’t...

Don’t get me wrong I love Hobby Lobby but I am upset as I watch the app for what’s on sale you know the weekly add part ..I see that All (notice it says all) All sisters papa ER studio 50% off so I drive my long drive to my hobby lobby to stock up. Get there and there are yellow prices marked on the vinyl I want so I excitedly stock up. To find out the yellow tag in small print says” your price” and that isn’t included on the 50% off sale!!! This is new because they never use to have yellow stickers. Everyone one of the vinyl I had in my cart (over 20) were all marked with a yellow sticker.I got out of line to go back and look everyone of them were marked with a yellow sticker….the associated working back there was like they mark them so you can’t get them that cheap and told me it is cheaper on line and even at Micheal’s when they have the buy one get one free sale!!! So tell me why do I need the hobby Lobby app?? No 40% off coupon anymore, the weekly sale add might not be was is truly 50%off …so save room on my phone and just take my chances and shop on line…sorry I love it but feel this is a way to get me in the door trust me you don’t have to lie to me to get me to come into Hobby Lobby but I will first check Micheal’s 1st as I feel there sale are true...

I visited this store on January 4th. I must say this was the absolute worse experience. Mind you I haven't visited this store in months. I decided to check out the pictures and etc. As soon as my family and I walked into the store we were followed nonstop. A manager literally followed me down each and every aisle. He literally stared at us and didn't even ask if we needed help. I never felt so uncomfortable in my life. I never experienced such racial profiling. I don't know if it's because of what I had on or if I was black but to literally be followed is ridiculous! My husband and daughter noticed the same thing so I know I wasn't losing my mind. I will NEVER visit this store again. I was told the general manager name is Chuck. The lady didn't remember his last name. Yeah ok. As I approached the check out area the store manager, asset patrol and front end supervisor was literally staring and talking among themselves. When I looked at them they turned their heads pretending to do something different. I would not recommend shopping...

I’ve been coming to this Hobby Lobby for years and they never disappoint. After the 1 year kidney donation blood test check up we drove to Hobby Lobby to pick up a few things for the besties project for her sister’s wedding. Shelves are always stocked (unless they’re remodeling for the new season) They have so much to look at different decor, flowers, frames, fabric, anything a crafter can think of they have something to offer you. I enjoy walking down their clearance because you never know what you may encounter. There’s a huge selection of vinyl if you work on the Cricut. Variety of activity kits for all kinds of ages. You can easily pick up a hobby if you ever feel the itch to try something new. Every time I needed assistance the staff here are always so helpful and friendly. Thank you Hobby Lobby for all your years of great customer service.

I can always find each season's decor in Hobby Lobby. Right now Christmas is 50% and they have so many colors and themes to choose from. I cannot wait to get a new tree and select our new theme and designs from here. They also have a lot of crafts and my kids find fun ones that are always affordable.
