Hadn't visited in 2 months to this location. Their employees are paid hourly and can't follow simple requests. I don't give a good doggone about your drive-thru! I travel by foot and by public trans and I am on A time constraint just like the people sitting in their warm or air-conditioned vehicles! My business is equally important as theirs is outside! Whatever I request to the order taker goes in one ear and out the other😡! The cook is looking DEAD AT IT on the order ticket!
They refried an original chicken sandwich, slapped half melted cheese and some old-tasting mayo on it and then had the audacity to sell it to me when I requested it FRESH "off the broiler"! I didn't have time to wait for what I originally requested from the beginning because I had to be at work. So otw to the job, after taking a bite of it BC I couldn't stomach the rubbery texture😷, I threw that nasty sandwich in our break room trash can😝! Mind you, I redeemed a FREE sandwich but bought fries and the drink. They blow me with this every time, everywhere I go BC I always request my food the same way!
They never wanna take a few seconds to walk back and drop some fresh burger patties to the grill, which they have to do eventually anyway BC you cannot sell expired meat! That timer is ticking away on those holding units for both specialty sandwiches(fish, chicken,etc) or burger patties. They grill or fry excessively beforehand what they don't sell right away but still sell it for their future orders instead of disposing of any remainder. Idk about anyone else but I have been a picky eater ALL OF MY LIFE, since I was a baby and literally was grossed out by certain baby foods and this followed me to this day! I am not an idiot! I can tell the difference between piping hot, hot, warm, lukewarm, cold fresh, stale and old, etc!
These jokers always do this to me here or give me old dropped fries that have been sitting! I truly believe it's INTENTIONAL so they WON'T have to deal with ME! It's these stupid fast food joints like this and the people who run them that makes them not have loyal, returning customers! Gosh, Idk what happened, but I miss Store Manager Quan! He stayed on their butts about my food or fixed it right himself! I pray he found something BETTER! I work in Crest Hill too and most of those employees working in these fast food joints are just there for a paycheck! They don't care if your food is fresh or old BC they're not the ones who have to eat it! They only care about pushing orders out in a timely fashion!
Last time I checked, I thought it was on my dime for whatever I buy here. It's not like they're at a total loss if someone requests fresh food. I have killed a lot of time watching them make orders for someone else in the drive thru requesting the same way I wanted my food but they'll get rid of the old stuff with me and make sure there's fresh for them? What kind of sense does that make when I'm standing there asking them for the same thing😠👎?! I am a paying customer and 85% of the time I can't afford it spending bill money and my traveling money!
Sandy, the current Store Mgr was agitated BC she was engaged in convo with another customer and former mgr all BC I excused myself by "interrupting" her but was only requesting my receipt. You have to give low ratings on the surveys to get corporate to respond and even then, its just an apology.
Sorry folks, for venting this lengthy review but I am fed up with these fast food joints doing whatever they want with your food but nothing is being resolved when you do go over their heads! Hope they're happy BC they won't have to worry about me! If I want BK then it better be another store!

Update* Tried again the next day to get my order. Guy over drivethru says that they cannot make my order and that it is not an option when they made my order just fine the day before and everywhere else. I end up walking in with my reciept from yesterday and ask him what that is if my order is impossible. Manager walks up and corrects guy before he could respond. I opted to just leave without even ordering. Terrible service. Employees should not lie and force people to go inside to argue. This was a bad experience 2 days in a row.
