This was an absolutely fantastic place to stay for our family of four. I was a little hesitant on price, but it was well worth it. With a full kitchen (I mean complete, with everything you need) I cooked breakfast and supper everyday. We stopped for groceries on our way from Las Vegas, but Glaziers Market is right around the corner from this place and has everything. I love cooking and made homemade pizza one night, bbq chicken on the grill another night as well as the usual burgers and hotdogs, omelettes in the mornings with coffee provided. Its best to pack lunches for hikes. We saved more on not eating out everyday that made the cost of this place well worth it. And we have two teen boys that can really eat! Especially after a day of hiking the canyons.

We did eat out one day for lunch (Giff's BBQ at the Hollywood Museum was great!) and got some lattes at Jacky's.

The full washer and dryer was great so we could do a couple loads of laundry while we were here (kids stinking clothes from hiking!).

It was also nice having two full baths and two bedrooms. My wife and I could chill after putting kids to bed. The master bath is huge! Every afternoon after hiking we relaxed by the pool and at night did s'mores over the fire. We also played games most nights.

This place is 1.5 hours from the North Rim. We were able to hike many trails along the North Rim in one day then head 1.5 hours the other direction to Bryce for another day of hiking. We spent one day seeing sites around Kanab and another day at Zion. Since we have never been to this area, all of these day hikes were a great way to get in all the fantastic sites. We did not take the tourist agency here up on any of their excursions, but they were nice enough to provide some free itineraries anyway.

The staff was very attentive. The first night the gas was out in the grill and they had more to us within 15 minutes.

I can't say enough about how great of a find this place was for us. I highly recommend to others with kids especially of all ages. My only complaint was lack...

Timber and Tin was the best place I have ever stayed! This compound-like set up was perfect for our large group of people who were in Kanab for a wedding. The people who designed this place are talented!

We stayed in Unit H and LOVED it! Everything was beautiful and clean. The details in this place were amazing. There are gentle closing kitchen cabinets and drawers, rain shower heads, app based TV systems, private washer and dryer, and everything you could need in the kitchen (four slot toaster, blender, mixing bowls, Tupperware, electric mixer) and all the normal pots and pans. There are big closets for all of your belongings. And the beds were comfy! Plus, the welcome book provided so much useful information about the area and tons of activities to do nearby. So thoughtful! AND you get a private rooftop area with furniture and a fire pit.

The community area was soooo beautiful. It was complete with a pool, jacuzzi, fire pit, covered picnic tables, and a children’s playhouse with toys! But my favorite part was the gorgeous barn. I have a one year old daughter who loved the playhouse outside but on the upper level of the barn was a play room for children, filled with toys, coloring books, bean bags, and a rocking horse. My daughter had a blast! Downstairs there is a projector and couch to watch movies, a poker table, and it was stocked with tons of games!

You don’t often come across a place that really thinks of everything to accommodate all ages. But this place has it all! I HIGHLY recommend staying here if you get the chance and we will...

This place is soo perfect!! My first concern was with covid- I am very careful during these times- don’t even eat inside a restaurant- and I felt so so comfortable here!! Everything is brand new, state of art, super clean and super comfortable!! Fully stocked kitchen and even bbq, everything from baking to grilling if you want. We had 2 bedrooms with the comfiest beds ever, but they even had air mattresses if needed. We took an air mattress up to the perfect rooftop deck/ made s’mores on the fire pit and watched the stars !! The pool area was spotless. Even a playhouse for the kids. The restored barn is the coolest thing ever- plenty of games and movies for the little ones. The location is awesome. You can walk to supermarket, gas station and restaurants, but still feels very private and secluded. We went to visit Zion, sand dunes and creek but honestly my kids just wanted to stay at the resort. The town cat roams around and they loved it! The owner is there in case you need anything and we really enjoyed chatting with him! There is also a Guide book inside your unit, tells you exactly what you can do and how long it will take to plan your day’! The owners thought of absolutely everything you would need to have the best experience and they really succeeded. My favorite spot and we will for sure...

Absolutely perfect!!!!!!! Check in was a breeze with the directions that the owner sent. Plus appreciated emails checking in on us with very quick responses. The house, amenities and experience is even better than shown in the pictures. Appreciated all the little touches - black out shades, k cups, ample shampoo and conditioner- just everything was absolutely incredible!!! Location was wonderful - so many restaurants and the grocery store within walking distance. Close to all of the activities we wanted to do. Greatly appreciated the included travel concierge service to help with excursion ideas that were perfect for our family! Would highly recommend!

We had never heard of Kanab before looking into a trip to see the national parks in Southern Utah and Northern Arizona. We were delighted by finding Kanab and Timber and Tin. The town was a great location for day trips to Zion, Bryce and the Grand Canyon (North Rim). Kanab also was fun to explore (we booked an ATV tour through Expedition Kanab and loved that). Timber and Tin was a great place to stay. Clean. New. Well stocked. Comfortable beds. New appliances. Well decorated. The management was helpful and responsive. The concierge was professional, quick, and quite knowledgeable. I would highly recommend any of the units in Tiber and Tin.
