Marshalls — Local services in Kannapolis

Their men's clothing section has seen such a decline over the past few years and it's truly disappointing and saddening. This particular Marshalls used to be my go to for clothes shopping and was for many years, but the men's selection has frankly become a joke. Clothing is subjective and I try to not be picky but I've noticed that their items are significantly worse compared to how it used to be. It seems that their men's section also gets smaller and smaller everytime I'm there. Marshalls in Huntersville gets the better clothes for men, and their selection is vastly larger. If I could only rate the mens section of this Marshalls, I'd give it 0 stars. However, I cannot speak on behalf of the woman's isle, and their other home goods, tech, and clearance isles are still decent which is why I give it 3 stars. This is a very nice store and always well-stocked. It is not crammed full of items like other Marshalls, blocking aisles so you can't move around. I wish they had a better selection of Womens sizes and clothing to choose from. The thing that bothers me about this store is people bringing their pets in with them while they shop----I have seen 2 dogs and a boy had a very large, LIVE iguana hanging on the front of his shirt. The dogs were on stretchy leashes, of course, always the choice of clueless dog owners, and ill-mannered. I called Marshalls' corporate office about this and was told that this is permitted. I recently went to this location to look for a puffer and noticed I was being watched by security/loss prevention. It was so obvious. He literally stood in an area where he could get a good view of what I was doing and once I removed my sweater to try on a jacket he moved a little closer. There were multiple people in the store somehow I was being watched. (And yes if you’re wondering I am😃).
