⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I want to give a huge shoutout to the cake and dessert vendor we used for our wedding two years ago — Cake A Boo! We absolutely LOVED them!! Their desserts are packed with the sweetest, most delicious flavors, and they look amazing too. Everything was beautiful — our desserts were cute and fun, while our cake looked so elegant.

We wanted a vendor who didn’t just make desserts that looked good, but that also had rich flavor and moist, melt-in-your-mouth cakes — and Cake A Boo delivered perfectly!

For our wedding, we ordered a faux two-tiered cake that had a single slice of real cake for the cake-cutting tradition. The rest was fake (and no one could tell!), which was a great cost-saving recommendation from the owner. We also ordered cupcakes, cake-sicles, and cake push pops in a variety of flavors: Vanilla, Chocolate-on-Chocolate, Lemon Blueberry (my favorite!), and Strawberry Crunch. Every flavor was incredible! Our guests raved about them — there wasn’t a single dessert left by the end of the night. They disappeared so fast that my husband and I didn’t even get a chance to snag a cupcake ourselves!

The owner, Jaresha, is absolutely wonderful to work with. She’s kind, professional, and so detail-oriented. She provided a free tasting box when we were shopping around for vendors, and most of our communication was done over email — which made things super easy. I sent her a few inspiration photos, and she nailed the vision. She even offered rental cake stands (we used our own), and on the day of the wedding, she delivered everything to our venue and set it all up beautifully. It was completely stress-free — exactly what you want on your wedding day!

Fast forward to our two-year anniversary, my husband and I couldn’t stop thinking about those desserts — and Jaresha so generously surprised us with a couple complimentary cupcakes! Such a thoughtful touch.

Overall, I cannot recommend Cake A Boo enough! This is a woman- and Black-owned local business that truly deserves all the love and support. I’ll definitely be ordering from Cake A Boo again for future...

My son is obsessed with garage doors, and I didn’t really want a sheet cake with a 2-D garage door on it. I read Cake-a-Boo’s About Me, and thought ‘OKAY, this is someone who will find a way to make a 3-D garage door cake!’

I was right! The cake was spot-on. It was a big garage with a door that appeared to be in the process of opening. It even had cars and trucks turning into the garage. Even though I was extremely unspecific when making my order, what we got is exactly what I had wanted.

The ordering process was so easy. I paid a small deposit. Pickup was seamless. I asked for a cake to feed 10-15 people, and it definitely fed at least 20. We have so many leftovers even with a LOT of hungry little ones having seconds at the party. What a great value.

The cake was not only beautiful, but delicious. I’m gonna be honest…I am not typically a big fan of the taste of fondant. But this cake’s fondant tastes so good! None of our leftovers will go to waste.

I’m excited to have found someone so close to me that has this kind of talent. I’ll be ordering again for whatever occasion pops up next, and whatever oddball thing my kid is into...

I cannot recommend Cake-A-Boo enough!! We did not have a single cupcake leftover from our wedding which is a testament to how delicious these flavors are!! (Believe me, we thought we ordered enough for our guest count!) We ordered flavors chocolate peanut butter, lemon blueberry, strawberry, red velvet, and confetti for the cupcakes as well as an 8 inch chocolate peanut butter cake for our wedding cake. Chocolate peanut butter, lemon blueberry, and strawberry were definitely fan favorites!!

Jaresha was a dream to work with!! Back in November, we ordered multiple cupcakes for our families to try with Thanksgiving dinner to help us narrow down our wedding flavor selections. She was so helpful and patient while we finalized our orders! She helped us determine the best number of cupcakes necessary for our wedding guest count, delivered our cakes on time, completed all of the setup, and even left behind trays in case we had leftovers (…..I should’ve known there would be none leftover!). Her cakes are absolutely divine and 1000% worth the price. I’m already ready to reorder the chocolate peanut butter cake for our anniversary...
