5 Stars for customer service! I had a gift card that I when I tried to peel the PIN off all of the paper came off and ruined the PIN. I had called NIKE they referred me to Kroger where I had purchased the card, and they were no help. I figured since I was going to be at this store (50 miles from my home) I would at least ask a manager. I found the two female managers working the floor and I told them my dilemma and ask was there any way I could use the card at their store. The one blonde manager took the card to see if it would work, and said "sure" That was awesome! But it wasn't just that, as I was shopping I mentioned to my husband that I was looking for a comfortable shoe with support and the young man working in the shoe department overheard and recommended a couple of different pairs of shoes. The store was very crowded, as it was Good Friday , yet I was asked by multiple employeesmthroughout the store if we needed help. *when I walked in the store, that line was long ..and I am one of those people who usually turns around and leaves when I see a line like that. My family was at other stores so I figured I walk around for a while - then I happen to see the managers out on the floor working, I decided to ask about the gift card. Read moreI am writing to express my disappointment with the service I received at the Nike Outlet in the Legends location.
I had purchased a pair of shoes for my son at the Branson outlet, but unfortunately, the size was too small. Since the Legends store is closer to me, I went there to exchange them for a larger size. I had misplaced my receipt, but according to Nike’s return and exchange policy, exchanges or store credit can still be processed without a receipt.
When I explained this at the register, the associate seemed unfamiliar with the policy and called the manager. To my surprise, the manager informed me that nothing could be done without a receipt. I explained again that I was not seeking a refund, only an even exchange for the correct size, and that I had the credit card I used for the purchase. The manager was dismissive, rude, and unprofessional throughout the interaction.
As a customer, I expect store managers to be knowledgeable about company policies and to treat customers respectfully. This experience was extremely frustrating and far from the standard I would expect from Nike.
I would appreciate it if this issue could be addressed, and I’d like clarification on the correct policy for exchanges...
