Terrible customer service by Chris Meza. I went to return some boots with my receipt because I got a better deal on-line. I am told by the first young lady that I canât return them without signing up for the rewards program and I asked why and she didnât know why and asked where that is stated anywhere in the store - and well itâs not so I did it to move along. If I had not I would have not been able to get my cash back. FYI to those who donât know that. Then she tells me she doesnât have enough cash BEFORE even checking and could give me a merchandise card. No thanks, I donât want a merchandise card, I would like my cash back please. I am not happy by now. So here comes Chris and as she leaves is saying maybe we have enough 20âs. Not once did he speak to me he just told her let me see what we have. He opens the drawer and gets the money and sticks his arm out to me and says âhereâs your moneyâ in a very put out tone and posture. I said thank you and he never spoke and said youâre welcome, sorry for the confusion, etc. or anything. I said youâre welcome and great customer service. Again no comment. Pretty sad representation for your location for someone who shops at this store every year. I may have returned these but spent twice as much on line. I will be sure to share my experience with anyone I know and direct them away from your location. Consider training for customer service. You would think after this pandemic experience and businesses suffering , people would be more appreciative of customers...
Read moreI have bought many things from boot barn. There is a wide selection of western wear from shirts to boots and cowboy hats. Itâs not cheap by any means but for the most part itâs usually good quality. The only complaints I have is I bought a expensive white straw cowboy hat and when I got I noticed it was bent all over the place and I was told it couldnât be fixed and wouldnât be replaced. I later bought a very pricy brown felt cowboy hat. The day I bought it there wasnât a hat shaper there which was no big deal. I had my wife bring back the hat for me another day while I was at work to have it shaped. Whoever shaped my hat definitely needs a lot of work on their skills.. it was no where near what I wanted it shaped like and it was wavy. I was able to steam that hat using an iron at home to at least fix it a little but I am no hat shaper nor do I claim to be. I plan to bring it back when I have time to have it reshaped again. I should have taken it myself in the first place because I know what I want it to look like better than my wife would.
With that being said I have bought many shirts, several pair of cowboy boots, hats, cowboy hats and jeans from boot barn. In general I am happy with my purchases. I just wish the prices were...
Read moreOnly great experiences at Boot Barn Katy! I am hard to fit and was about to give up when Asst Mgr Jennifer asked me if I would wear a menâs boot (my feet are wide). She found me a pair with leather soles for dancing that were very comfortable.
Later, I came back to the store to return some insoles my husband did not want. Andrea was so nice and helpful! I was also assisted by Payton Polnac who was one of the best salesmen I have ever been served by. He helped me get those hard-to-place arch support insoles into the boot by âfolding it like a taco.â When I noticed a spill, he quickly dried it up, put a caution sign over it, and said âthanks for calling that to my attention.â So courteous and polite! I also shopped for dresses and was assisted by Kaitlin. She really listened to what a was looking for and helped me find it. Then she put some selections on hold for me so I could try them on later.
In conclusion, every staff member who served me was friendly, aimed to please, and was genuinely helpful. Boot Barn hires the right kind of people and trains them well by example of their management. I will never go anywhere else for country...
