Read moreTHEFT!!! Me and my husband went there one night and was surprised to see there was a mandatory tip placed on our check, us not thinking anything of it because it is a higher end restaurant we didn’t say anything. We didn’t want to cause a scene but then when we came back the next day, got our food, at the end we noticed there wasn’t a mandatory tip placed, NOTED. We then asked for to-go boxes and one of the employees told us it’s against policy but that same day and the night before we saw multiple people leaving with Togo boxes we also saw one of the waiters handing out about 6/7 boxes out. So we asked another employee and he also told us it’s against policy and we told him that we saw him specifically give multiple people togo boxes. He then begins to lie and tell us it’s against policy to give out togo boxes because people have came back and sued them because “they warmed up food from the night before and got food poisoning” after lying to us for 5 mins he then proceeds to bring two boxes out for us. When then ask him about the mandatory tip that was on our check from the night before he then begins to stumble over his words and ask “$30 nooo are you sure it wasn’t $20” at that point me and my husband proceeded to walk out because we didn’t feel like going back and forth with this man. Our check the first night came out to $184.20 the second night it came out to $143
UPDATE: 04/04/2025 You claim you don’t give out togo boxes but both nights that I was there I saw your manager handing out multiple Togo boxes. If I never saw that I never would’ve pressed the issues about getting one. My husband never apologized to the manager he actually pressed the issues about the boxes and that’s when the manager gave us TWO togo boxes despite being against “policy”. My husband never told your manager I was having trouble with work so please don’t lie! The manager never gave us complimentary dinner ( I have both receipts to prove it) and actually charged us a mandatory tip pertaining to Ramadan (so you say) even though we are not Muslim and no one told us about it, that’s why we had to come back up there on Sunday to receive a refund. I HAVE VIDEO PROOF, PAPER RECEIPTS AND SCREENSHOTS. Please don’t take this further than what it needs to be. Have a...
Read moreI came here for lunch on a weekday, parking was easy, there was no greeter at the door, the atmosphere was that of a fancy restaurant, a little too dark for my taste and I felt very underdressed. I picked a seat, the waiter pulled my chair for me and threw the napkin on my lap, was a little bit rude, but that's ok. I picked the cheapest meat cut option, about $30. I headed to the buffet, noticed the restaurant is pretty empty, skipped most of the choices as they looked like cold salads. I loved: chicken salad, farofa, fried mandioca, beans, fresh pao de queijo on my table. Did not like: the fried bananas (they were hard and barely fried). Now to the big let down: the meats. The main food was not good and for those prices, it should be amazing, well it wasn't. Maybe I caught them in an off day. When they served them to me, they looked good but they tasted blend, not enough salt, rubbery, not cooked enough. The worst ones: sausage and garlic beef. If you've been to Fogo de Chão or Texas de Brazil, the meats are all fresh and delicious. The meats in this place were disgusting except for the chicken with bacon, that was the only edible one. Maybe it's how they season it, they might not know how to season it. When I grill picanha at home I only put salt on it and it's perfect, somehow they managed to ruin even the picanha, the best cut of meat. If they just learn to cook the meat better, or not serve old or cheap meat? ( I don't know what was wrong with the meat) this restaurant would be amazing and I would come back. For now, I will stick to grilling my own picanha or for this price, I will be going to Fogo or Texas de Brazil (if they haven't let their quality go down too). Order: chicken with bacon, chicken salad, farofa, salads, pao de queijo, rice and beans, fried mandioca Skip: All red meat,...
