I dont know where some get off stating the pricing was good. It is not. Price wise - over the top. Sure the quality is there I will not deny that, presentation is very artfully prepared as well. The portions are on the paltry side. I was not there to eat rolls so I can't comment on that, it was nigiri and sashimi mostly a la carte. So we were three, we order 2 half bottles of sake. The first was below average, the second had peach esters and it was off the chart, really good. I ordered sea urchin, yellow tail, salmon all very good. We shared two appetizers among the three of us. The seviche, which was 6 pieces of scallop with some drizzle of oil. Very average, paltry amount at best, then the carpaccio. Again good flavor extremely disappointing amount. The other folks ordered a roll which I tried, not very impressive, I'm sorry. Not a big fan of tempura inside rolls. I'm a bit of a purist when it comes to sushi - nothing cooked. Grand total $180, tip excluded. So will not be going again as there are other places just as good at half the price. At $60 per person I can think of a few places where I would have left very satisfied. Babin's Brio, papa, shogun, ceasar's, salt grass, I...

Beware future customers - My family and I frequent this establishment as we really enjoy their service and their food. However this past weekend was our last time ever coming here. We tried to swap out or simply return a roll we ordered because we unfortunately did not like it. I tried one piece before asking the waiter to exchange it to be told they cannot do that since I already took a bite. They also never removed the roll from our bill. We were charged $15 for taking a bite. How else am I supposed to know if something is good/bad without trying it? We have been here numerous times and was never once told about this “policy” they have. Most places , the manager or chef always tries their best to accommodate the customer. Whether it’s remaking the meal, switching it out or at the very least, removing the item from the bill and not making your customer feel like crap. We have worked in the service industry and that experience fell very very short and was extremely disappointing. Just beware before you eat here make sure you love everything ,otherwise they will still charge you and not give an ounce of a...

This is officially our new Sushi date night location. I have to admit, it hits all the right notes.

The location is clean and quiet, with lots of manga artwork on the walls. The staff are very friendly, helpful and definitely remember repeat customers. Their selection of Sushi is awesome!

We've been there three times now and it keeps getting better every time. Our favorites are the Shaggy Dog, the Charizard Roll, the pan fried dumplings, and we've been cycling through their rice bowls as well.

Word to the wise, if you get a rice bowl, and it has a side sauce, please try the sauce before dumping it in the bowl! That way, you know if it's for you or not.

Happy hour is great when you are looking to get in and out quick, the portion sizes are smaller and the cost is reduced. We usually drink water with our meal, and it all still comes out to less than $50.00.

If you live in the area and love Sushi,...please pay them a visit!

They have good reviews so I gave it a try. I came for happy hours because people talking about it...in my opinion, don't bother with their happy hour menu. I think lunch menu better. Their happy hours only good for appetizers and drinks, but the rolls nothing special-only good to try out. Happy hours rolls is HALF ROLL for $6-7.50; for example shaggy dog half roll on HH menu is $6 but regular menu whole roll only $9.99 so I don't see the point here- kinda disappointed! They don't list all ingredients or what come in the roll on HH menu so I don't know what to order, just some rolls have ingredients listed. Food quality, I had better shaggy dog somewhere. Other rolls taste ok or good but not awesome. Maybe I eat sushi a lot so my expectation little high. However, their price on regular menu is reasonable I would come back to try sashimi and more different rolls. Service- the waitress looks unhappy, no smile or question if we been here before, no recommendation.

We went in for lunch and we weren't disappointed at all. The place was super clean, the staff wore masks, and it wasn't very crowded either. We ordered the chicken teriyaki bento box, it comes with 4pieces of sushi, fried veggies (carrot, potato, broccoli, Onion), chicken breast in chosen sauce, a small side of salad, a small bowl of miso soup, and white rice (can be switched to fried rice for $1). And it was absolutely delicious. Loved every last bite of it. Another thing we ordered was the Charizard roll which contains steak and crab. It was delicious too. Definitely try their specialty rolls and they have a wide variety of those. The portion size is generous too. They also have squeaky clean restrooms that has a space for changing baby diapers as well. 4 stars simply because we've had better sushi in Houston. Although this place is worth a try!
