
I got into the CrossFit world about a year and a half ago, and let me tell you, I was completely out of shape and hadn't lifted in years. At first, I wasn't sure if CrossFit was right for me. I was constantly sore and struggled with the lifting techniques. But that's okay because Brooke, the awesome owner, took me under her wing and worked with me one-on-one for weeks until I got the hang of it. Now, after almost two years, my progress has been amazing. I've become stronger and more fit than ever before.
One of the best things about the gym is having access to a nutrition coach. In just nine months, working with the coach, I gained 12 pounds of muscle and lost 20 pounds of fat. And let me tell you, for the first time in my life, I understand how to eat for optimal health and fitness.
The community at the gym is incredible. It feels like a big, welcoming family. You can even bring your kids and dogs along! From day one, you'll feel like you belong. The members are super supportive and always there to lift you up when you're struggling or need some encouragement.

   Read moreGreat family environment gym! I was a member of a Big-Chain gym and I used to go every week, but I got tired of doing the same routine everyday and not seeing results. I heard about cross fit and the benefits it brings, so I was looking for a gym around the area that would help me with my busy schedule and I found it online at GonzStrong crossfit. The first time I visited GonzStrong, Brian and Brooke welcomed me very warmly. I tried it for a week with nothing to expect, and I loved the workouts and the environment. Brooke, Brian, and Mallory were so helpful, guiding me through every exercise. After that week I was sold and I decided to join the gym. I could see and feel the benefits of practicing CrossFit almost immediately. And thanks to the good vibes at they gym, I was looking forward to go as much as possible. After few months of joining the gym I had to travel overseas for about two months.
