Adrian’s Mexican Street Food — Restaurant in Katy

If I could give 0 stars I would!! Horrible horrible horrible!! Chips are not fresh, salsa you can tell is from a jar. Got my Torta order wrong twice! .. They have pictures of all their menu items..i don't speak Spanish so when I point to one and say no onions and he says it back to me.. I assume your going to get it right.i then get food items that not even in the picture/ menu item I ask . After two WRONG orders come to me I walked up to him and canceled my order. (not to mention the first order they added jalapenos to it..not listed as an ingredient...then my second one hidden in the meat. Meaning all you did was flip it to a different bun. What if I was allergic to something I told y'all not to add) My husband, who had taken two bits of his now cold food, was not impressed by the sub-par food, which they forgot to add cheese to I may add. I told them this as well. I say them because the man who was helping us, The manager, didn't speak English and didn't know what I was saying. Melody then told us it didn't matter that my husbands food was nasty and cheese less(they didn't add it to the oder like requested) ,but we still had to pay for him.I asked for the owners info to call and complain and they both refused to give the owners info to inform him about how staff handled things. We paid for my husbands food he didn't eat. So I know this is long but hope this gets back to the owner because...

Last night I ordered two orders of the quesabirria tacos from Grubhub and our food was fresh and the tacos were still crispy as I live less than 5min away do today we decided to order more but for pick up. Called my order and was told it’ll be ready in 10. If that 10 min I got there in about 5 min. Stood at the bar for about 10 along with other customers and there were 3employees sitting down eating. The manager came from the back looks at the front door and went to the table where the employees were and talked to them for about another 3min. More ppl walked in one went to sit at the bar and the girl sitting down got up walked to the person that sat at the bar and got them some chips and salsa. Look our way...no acknowledgment still. Finally I asked if she was going to assist us and she said “what do you need?” I told her I was waiting for my order and by that time the manager walked over and asked how can she help. We all told her we were there to pick up. She gets our food gives us a receipt and walks off. Come back took our payment and there was no “thank you or comeback to see us” nothing. I get home and entirely upset bcuz our food was cold, soggy and tasted old. The plating was horrible and sloppy and I wish I took a photo. I hate wasting money and this was definitely a waste. Adrian’s Tacos is normally my favorite place to eat when I’m in Katy. So I feel like I need to say this has never happened before. The food has always been wonderful and service is always great at the location that I normally go to. But this past Saturday, August 9th around 3:30 or 4pm was my first time ever going to the location at 1603 N Westgreen Blvd. A young lady brought out chips and dip as soon as we got there but we never saw the lady again. No one ever came to ask what we wanted to drink. Once all of the chips were gone and we realized that no one was coming over to our table, my son-in-law walked over to the bar where a man had been on his phone and asked if we could get some water. The man didn’t say a word. He simply walked around my sil and went to the back of the restaurant. Once he came out, he did bring us water but he refused to speak to us. It was really weird. All he would do is shrug his shoulders. My sil tried speaking Spanish and English to him and still no response. At that time we decided it was best if we left. We drove to the location at 1997 Katy Mills and had an amazing time. We stayed for probably 2 hours and again the food was perfect! I’m still leaving a good review because I love Adrian’s Tacos but I’ll never go back to that...
