Because my machine was purchased at this company, I took it there for repairs when it would not work. They charged me $100 when I picked it up but they couldn't tell me what was wrong with it. Turns out there was nothing wrong with the machine. I tried using it but it was still locked up. I took it back and it was only then that I was told my machine has a feature where it doesn't work when the bobbin load part on top of machine is flipped in position to load the bobbin with thread. So I was charged $100 for them to finally tell me it was the bobbin switch. Definitely no honest treatment there. I know they are in business to make money but neglecting to be honest and charging $100 for nothing is unacceptable!! And they left the machine with dirt marks. I question if there was any service done on my machine. Won't ever...
Read moreDishonest and predatory—don’t trust them with your machine. Should be NO STARS. I took my Juki TL-2000qi in for service for a minor mechanical issue and was told I would be called BEFORE any repairs were attempted. Two weeks later, I got a call letting me know that my machine would no longer power on and the technician had blown two of its fuses. Not only that, I was told they “couldn’t get parts anymore” because my machine was “an old, inferior internet model.” None of that is true—my TL-2000Qi is only four years old, well reviewed, still in production, and purchased from a local authorized dealer. The machine worked when I dropped it off. When I picked it up, it would not even power on. Instead of fixing the damage done in their shop, they tried to cover it up with lies. Do not trust your equipment...

I was surprised to have immediate and recurring problems over the course of a few months with thread breaks during letter embroidery (it would embroidery all dense designs perfectly and failed every time on letters). I was about at the end of my patience and ready to chalk it up to buying used, but after 5 trips to and from McDougals and their unending perseverance, Lanas has my machine running perfectly! It had a scratched area on the embroidery tension unit and a bum bobbin case (both of which Lanas replaced). These people are always respectful and kind and seem to really know what to say to frustrated customers -- and how to fix machine problems! Huge thanks to McDougal...
