I thought on this experience for awhile before posting this review because I love this company and my husband and I have been shopping with Na Hoku since we started visiting Hawaii, for over 15 years now. My engagement ring is from this Poipu store. We have purchased many other items while visiting the islands and at home— cuffs, rings, necklaces, earrings. However, the visit I had last week saddened me as it lacked the warmth that I have come to expect when visiting a Na Hoku store. I was in the store to send my wedding set to have the rhodium redone- which had been recommended to me by an employee at the Valley Faire store in San Jose - a few months ago. I thought I’d save it for our trip. When I entered I had to say hello, there were three employees there who did not say hello and just stared at me. One employee did assist me with sending my rings off but the experience lacked the Aloha I have come to expect at Na Hoku.
