We had the BEST experience purchasing not one, but two queen sized mattresses at Syd's. They were so patient and generous letting us try every sample mattress they had in stock. When we learned our order for a king sized mattress may take up to six weeks, they found something on their showroom floor that was comparable and was an even BETTER deal. They gave us free delivery AND set-up the next day and we have been sleeping better ever since. When we need another new mattress, couch or dining set, you can be sure we will go back to Syd's. Don't be shy if you just want to look around their showroom. Our kid had such a great experience, that we go to Syd's every now and then, just to see what's new. I went to Syds on a recommendation from a friend. My order for a bunk bed took 6 weeks and was never delivered. The sales folks are wonderful, however once the sale was made, the post sales customer service was lacking. I called them three times (the first time they said it shipped but couldn’t tell me when it would be delivered. The second time they said a manager would call me back with a status (the call back never happened)). I even went into the store once to check on my order. After being told the owner would call me back, I received no callback or any indication of the status. I don’t mind if an order is late, but please be up front and tell me what the true status is (even if it’s bad news). I ended up canceling my order and going with a different store to fill my needs. We needed a new mattress/bed in a hurry. My husband was coming home from the hospital before we were ready. We needed first floor accommedations to limit steps and bathroom accessiblity. Syd's had a firm mattress and mattress pad available. So I made my choice. They were booked for delivery on the day we needed it but Dee understood my desperation and rearranged things so a delivery could happen the morning I was to pick my husband up. My family and I appreciate the empathy Syd's staff exhibited it was an amazing relief when stress levels were at an all time high. Thank you Dee and delivery staff for getting us out of a tough spot.
