I remember shopping at this location many years ago when it was is still a new store. Back then everything was very tidy, organized and every different brand was like it's own little showroom. The store layout used to have a professional look and feel to it. Nowadays that is not the case, unfortunately.
I went in there the other day and it felt like I was shopping at a Ross, or Burlington Coat factory. There were random brands in sections that used to be designated to a single brand. The racks were disorganized and some aisles I could barely walk through since so many tracks were bunched together.
I went in looking for Adidas athletic sportswear and was not impressed with their selection. I even saw a dusty/linty hat on one of the shelves and it was priced at msrp. No visible clearance sections, if any, and with the kind of presentation (or lack thereof) visibly evident at that store, I was hoping to find some, but everything seemed like overpriced, old-release items.
I get that it's hard to compete with online giants like Amazon and these retail stores need to make their money, but as such, they should put a higher priority on their store presentation which contributes greatly to a shoppers overall experience. I also realize this is Miami and it's hard to find competent managers and employees these days, but someone needs to step in and step up for the Dicks Sporting...
Read moreThe Manager and Associates in the Daytime are idiots. I called about price matching they swore up and down that they didn't. First the associate said they only price match websites, which you can't do on checkout ever, then the manager said they "only price match within our own stores" that's not a price match.
Here's directly from the Dick's site, which I confirmed with customer service who then did the transaction for me over the phone for instore pick up.

Read moreI'm just leaving the store, the employees/ managers are definitely racially profiling customers. I went in to buy a pair of rollerblades. They did not have a large variety, and their associates kept asking if we needed any help. Which I didn't mind them asking. It got a little weird when I seen one associate watching us from behind the double doors. Then LP walked over, and asked if we needed any assistance. I told her no, but I do notice everyone watching us. She stated, no one informed her of anything. Yeahhh-Right!!! After she came over the associate who was watching us, went out on the sales floor to other customers. Yayyy! At this point, I'm getting annoyed. My daughter, asked if I was ok. I said no, I feel like, I'm in a Chinese store. However, I welcomed the LP because I knew this would be the only way to shop in peace. I almost purchased my rollerblades there because of the LP friendliness and knowledge of the products. Awful, awful, awful! If I choose to go back Im asking for a personal assistant. I feel it's the only to shop...
