Apizza Brooklyn is a great pizza place, one of top pizza places in Miami in my opinion. I have been a regular for the last few years and I always enjoy the food whether it’s for takeout or dining in. They recently opened a location next to Matsuri while this location on US1 is the original. The inside of the restaurant gives you a solid “Brooklyn” atmosphere and vibe, it’s kinda cool, it almost feels like you’re in Brooklyn. The staff is always great and attentive as is the owner Jason, who I have had many great conversations with. The menu has plenty of options for food (apps, pizzas, pasta, salad etc more below). Always ask for the local specials because those are great. I remember I had a phenomenal ribeye steak that happened to be a special that day. The fish specials also are very good. For starters, you can’t go wrong with the fired calamari and zucchini it’s top notch. I love the pizza here, it’s fantastic. The pizza is amazing here, they have perfected the crust to be thin and crispy. For these pizzas, I alternate between the classic pepperoni and the meat lovers pizza. The Brooklynite is also a great speciality pizza. I have had a variety of entrees including steak and fish daily specials, I remember having a short rib risotto as well that was great. If you’re in Miami and great some authentic Brooklyn cuisine, come to “Brooklyn.”

Look no further, stop your search, and pack your bags.. or wallets because you have officially just ran into the BEST pizza spot on Miami. As a man who suffers from terrible acid reflux and almost every pizza gives me the worst heartburn imaginable while tasting extremely average this means a lot. Upon arriving the staff was really friendly, everyone was wearing masks and we were taken care off the entire time we were there. At one point we even had the manager approach our table and follow up with us to see if we needed anything else. I am a firm believer that if you take care of your customers, they will take care of you and that is just what they did. Not only that, but they had inside seating available which was really nice and intimate but they also set up a mini tent outside that sits over 15 people which was nice. But now onto the highlight of the night. THE PIZZA. I ended up going with Da bomb Neapolitan pizza and the name did not do it enough justice. It is way more than the bomb! The dough was perfectly cooked where you still had some charred pieces, the cheese was plentiful, and the sauce was magical. You can tell all the ingredients were fresh and the sauce was specifically made in house. Overall, I will definitely be coming back and bringing more friends with me next time. -The Fashionable Foodie

We have no complaints about the service, but we were looking for a fancy dinner (our anniversary), and the ultimate price tag has compelled me to mark this restaurant down. We got the calamari appetizer, which had fairly good calamari (still worth only 4 stars) and scorching hot zucchini on the same plate. Recommended: Their local beer option. Paired very nicely with our entrees since my lovely date ordered chicken alfredo (protein cost extra), as she does every Italian restaurant. Her dish gave me the impression of a macaroni and cheese, creamy sauce that definitely didn’t take away from the pasta (you should be able to taste your pasta at a good Italian place), but as simple as this dish is, flavor was lacking (guess I didn’t want to taste the pasta thattt much). My eggplant parmigiana was fantastic, their marinara sauce is excellent, simple (maximizing few ingredients, as any chef should), and versatile. My date didn’t like the bread (which came out with salads after our appetizer), but I thought it was fine. My guess is that the emphasis at this location is their pizza, which we did not try. I’d return to this restaurant (and this location) if I didn’t have to spend closer to $100 for fairly simple meals (including only a couple beers).

I placed an order through Uber eats for two 18” pizzas with Apizza Brooklyn in Pinecrest. My kids take out from there and recommended it to me when they went out of town and I asked them for a good pizza place to feed the grandkids and me.

I ordered one 18” cheese pizza. For the second I chose the half and half option that is offered. One half sausage and onion, the other half red pepper, mushrooms, olives and onions.

When the pizza arrived it was all one pizza. Everything mixed together. So we did what any reasonable customer would do. We called the restaurant. Well talk about poor customer service. First, we were told that we had ordered the pizza the way it came. Altogether as one order. Unfortunately for them, I had taken a photo of my order showing the correct order placed. Having had poor experiences with food delivery I always take a photo of the order in case of disputes. Then the excuse changed. Now it was that the restaurant never offered half and half pizza. And they just “corrected the order from uber eats. I don’t know who answered the phone but it came across as arrogant. And dismissive. Having spent a significant amount of money on this specialty, and being totally disregarded, why would I ever order from them? I am more inclined to let everyone know about my experience. So beware. Don’t believe what you think you’re ordering from this place you will receive. They can send you whatever they want and tell you it’s your fault for ordering it on the app they use. I would give 0 stars...
