I have to say that I am deeply disappointed. In the past we have visit this miakos because it is a hassle to park in South Miami. I don't know if we will go to any of them after tonight. My wife and I came into eat here tonight we sat down and we order the Sushi Mori for 2. We requested brown rice and one salad, one soup. We got the soup and salad, then about 15-20minutes later we got our boat. Our dinner was spoiled by the fact that the rice was White not Brown. We complained and our waiter "Muoi", wanted to change it. I told him no and my wife and I ate the fish with out the rice. We were not going to wait another 20minutes. We ate as much as we could and paid the full Price for the meal. When we I got the check I was hoping at least for an apology from Muoi or the manager but we got nothing of the sort. So for this I will not be returning. People don't understand now a days that when you go out to eat it is for the experience not the food you can make food at home and be happy. I guess they don't know how to give the experience...
Read moreI WOULDNT EVEN GIVE THIS PLACE A STAR !!!! THE OWNER IS SUPER RUDE !!!!!!!! I had an incredibly disappointing experience at [Miyako of dadeland japanesse restaurant ]. When I arrived, I wanted to sit outside on a bench that was completely empty. However, the staff refused to allow me to sit there without any valid reason. To make matters worse, they called the police on me for no reason at all, even though I wasn’t causing any trouble and there was plenty of space available.
This kind of treatment is completely unacceptable and unfair. As a paying customer, I expect to be treated with respect, not hostility. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone based on this experience. There are plenty of other places that value their customers and treat them with the courtesy they deserve.
HORRIBLE DONT GO TO THIS PLACE AT ALL !!!!!! I DONT RECOMMEND IT TO...
Read moreHave been here a number of times. Always an excellent experience.👍 Did a solo at the sushi bar tonight. I've acquired a rep, I guess, since they have continued to provide items no longer found at most of the Kendall Japanese restaurants. I responded my delight outloud. For one, daikon radish, a great digestive aid. Carrots have taken it's place on the plate. Second, they have sea urchin ovaries, I mention that hoping many diners will not order it so I can have it. Commonly referred to as Uni. No one has this specialty any more as far as I know in Kendall. If any knows of another place that still serves it. Post it for me please... I encourage anyone that enjoys sushi to stop by this quaint and very well staffed restaurant. Try the ceviche listed on the specialty board on the left of the...
