READ! Unfortunately our experience at this restaurant was not the best! I have been wanting to go for a while and after you see all these "great" promotional videos on instagram makes you want to go...i went on a Saturday afternoon and the cost per person was $40 (39.99) this price apparently includes a salad bar, "all you can eat meat" cheese bread balls and the fried cinnamon bananas which we never got. As soon as we sat down the waiter told us we had to go to the salad bar first in order for us to be served the meat, meaning the guys that serve the meat don't come to your table unless you are already eating food from the salad bar, they want you full, obviously! Let me tell you: People VISIT here for the meat NOT for the salad, lets be honest. Mind you the salad bar is a small few options to select and after seating to eat our salads they were tasting a bit sour like if they were sitting there for more than a day, NOT fresh at all! of course for this reason didn't eat any of the salads again. We had been seating for more than 10 minutes with no food to eat when someone finally came with some meat left on the skewer, don't think they will be passing by your table regularly offering different kinds of meat! After being there almost asking for the check and leave I asked the waiter if we could have the cheese breads and the bananas which we never got served, she said they were almost ready and she will bring them out in a few minutes. We got the cheese balls but never the bananas, up to this day i am still waiting for the bananas! Let me tell you my time here was done, I couldn't wait to head out of this place, I have been to many food places here in Miami and with so many options for churrascaria this is not one of them! Spend your money somewhere else. You end up paying $50 per person at the end because they mandatory charge you 18% service fee, so for this amount of money you pay, for not being able to eat "all" the meat you want, salad bar, or complementary starters is really throwing you money to the trash. The menu is just a few drinks and 5 dessert options to choose from... I definitely not be returning here neither recommend it sorry...as my first time we should have had a better experience. The only reason i gave them some stars is because the place is spacious and doesn't feel crowded, aside from that, everything was just a mess. Pd: You guys should keep an eye on the salad bar and taste it before offering to the clients upon opening.
REPLYING TO OWNER's response: Allegedly?? my experience is NOT alleged! this is how everything did went and what really happened! Using the word "allegedly" to respond to customers makes me wonder if you really have knowledge of what the word means! you having no proof of my experience its not my problem, that says a lot about you guys... I DO know how my visit went, and to me its more than enough! and no... I wont be...
Read moreI came here because my friend said it was good. I dont know if days of the week matter, she came on a weekend, I came on a Monday. What she described was the complete opposite of what I experienced. out of all the cuts they offer on the menu, we only saw Chicken w/ bacon, churrasco (once), cold picanha, rib eye, shrimp, and octopus that I asked for. There was only ONE guy coming around with the cuts, by the time it got to our table the meat was cold and unpleasant; AND it took FOREVER for a new cut to come out. there was a fly on my table. The octopus was dry. The shrimp was overcooked. The waitress was distracted so I didn’t have water for a while. The ribeye tasted and looked like pork. According to the waiter serving the meat, it’s not the first time they tell him it tastes like pork!!! They offered to cut my partner a new piece, when they brought the new one it was the same. I’ve never seen the ribeye’s fat turn into chicharron. Then I thought the guy was coming out with a new cut for us to try, but no they were just taking videos for their social media. When my waitress came to give us the check she asked how the food was (in spanish), and I responded “Really bad,” I’m not sure if she didn’t understand what I said, but she laughed at my response and turned away. I had the urge to remove that 18% tip charge, it was not deserved at all! I frequently visit Fogo de Chao, Texas de Brazil, and The Knife. So I know what to expect in these types of places. Cheap prices - mediocre food and service. I guess you get what...
Read moreI recently visited Rio Grande Churrascaria in Pinecrest, and it was hands down the best Brazilian steakhouse experience I've had in years. What truly sets this place apart is the perfect seasoning--unlike many churrascarias where the meat is overwhelmingly salty, Rio Grande lets the quality of the cuts shine through.
The picanha (sirloin cap) was absolutely fantastic--tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection. But the surprises didn't stop there. I was delighted to find that they also serve grilled octopus, which was incredibly tender and easily a highlight of the meal.
The experience is rounded out by a fantastic selection of sides and bar items. The fresh vegetables in the salad bar are crisp, and the soup selection is excellent. My wife was thrilled with the array of fresh fruits available for a lighter finish.
For dessert, don't miss the grilled cheese with syrup--it's a unique and delicious sweet/savory treat!
Finally, the service was attentive and genuinely friendly throughout our visit. The value here is unbeatable: their weekday lunch special, running from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm, is only $24.99 per person. If you're looking for a top-tier churrascaria that prioritizes flavor and freshness over salt, Rio Grande Churrascaria (Pinecrest) - Flavorful, Fresh, and the Best Value!. Highly...
