I went in yesterday afternoon and asked the young surly boy at the counter for a "dry" cappuccino (so much for the smiling face promised at the counter!) I explained it meant a bit less milk. I left a cash $1 tip and he thanked me. When I took the first sip, it was bitter and very hot. I asked if he could add a bit more cold milk. He said it would cost me $1. I said I wasn’t asking anything extra - just to add the extra milk I had asked him not to pour to make the "dry" cappuccino. He refused. He blamed me for changing my mind... I got the spoonful of milk from Starbucks next door, of course, for free. No wonder Moisant Market is empty and Starbucks is full. I contacted the management (not an easy task as emails and phone numbers at their website don't work). Someone contacted me and apologized. However, this was such a bad unexpected experience that I doubt I'll ever set foot...
Read moreThere were two employees working this Sunday morning June 16, 2024. The male employee was delightful and kind. He was the only one working. The female employee was rude, harsh, rolled her eyes at me multiple times as I asked her questions. She treated me horribly, she made me feel terrible. This was my first trip to New Orleans ever. The city was lovely with super nice folks until my flight home that Sunday morning. This female employee ruined the streak of kind employees throughout this lively city. Shame on this company for ripping me off. Don't buy the Taste of New Orleans. It's $20 and this establishment will rip you off. That female employee left my food in the back of the restaurant so long I almost missed my flight. Then she only put one spoonful of food in each container. She should be repremanded or let go. I will never return to this overpriced...
Read moreThis place was awesome when the airport opened. Had great coffee/ espresso and amazing selection of food and drinks. In the last year it has become shameful. All of the previous workers, who could make espresso properly, either quit or were replaced by workers whose sole purpose is to sit behind the counter. Ordered a cortado… which is one of the six things you can order on menu… and was told they didn’t know how to make it??? Another worker said she could and the result was a bitter mess. This place apparently is associated with CR Coffee which is shameful as their brick and mortar locations are some of the best coffee in the city. Please hire someone that can make the coffee properly or don’t offer options that can’t be made. Otherwise I am happy to take the $2000+ espresso machine off your hands...
