Though I don't expect much from airport food, I was left sorely disappointed by this experience. There is a sign asking customers to wait until you are seated, so my friend and I stood waiting for at least 5-10 minutes. It looked like there was only one employee on the floor.
When we were finally seated, we were told not to order using the QR code on the table yet because the previous order hadn't been closed. We waited to receive further instructions from the staff member, which never came so we just went ahead and ordered after some time.
My friend's meal was first to arrive. Aside from the fact that her fries were cold, there was also a clearly visible dark grey dust bunny on top. Her sandwich bread was stale and the chicken also had a hidden bone inside. She ended up hurting her teeth quite badly when biting in. Oh, and her drink was completely forgotten about.
My meal, on the other hand, never arrived. A patron sitting next to me inquired about what was going on and took the initiative to flag down the one employee working on the floor. I reordered my meal and was told the drink I selected through the QR code didn't exist.
When I did finally get my meal it was fine, nothing exceptional. At that point I was just feeling anxious about boarding as we had already spent about an hour struggling through this dining experience.
I would strongly recommend avoiding this location for a meal. Can't speak to the...
Read moreI’m not one to leave reviews usually but I was so appalled at the service before I even ordered that I just left. I sat down and plugged in my phone and was on a call with my husband (my flight had been rescheduled and we were figuring it out) when the waitress walked up and asked me if I knew what I wanted to order. I motioned go the QR code on the table and she said okay. While I was still on the phone she came up again and asked if I was ready to order. I am very aware you have to order something at this restaurant to take up a space, but I was just baffled that within a span of three minutes I had been asked twice when I obviously hadn’t even looked at the menu. I finished up my call and told my husband they really wanted me to look at the menu and I’d call him back. In the next 6 minutes while I was there looking at the menu, she asked an additional 3 times if I was ready to order. The last time I had enough and got up and left. I was there a total of 12 minutes and was asked 5 times if I was ready to order. As I was leaving I said “Sorry, didn’t find anything for me, thanks” and she just ignored me and walked by. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Save your money and walk down to Shake...
Read moreI was stranded stranded at this airport due to an emergency landing. Decided to get a bite to eat and work at Emeril’s table. The food was not great but then again it’s the airport. My original server Sandra was the nicest. However a server named Brit came over and told me to wrap it up and leave. I was still drinking my coke and eating my soup. This server had no customer service skills what so ever. There was a man sitting next to me that had been sitting there before I got there who she said nothing to. He had no food or drinks left. Actually there were a couple white males working for a while that she said nothing to. I still had my soup and coke on the table and she took my soup and drink without asking. She threw my soup away but left my drink when I said something to her. She then came back and asked if I was wrapping up. I mentioned the other men working and not eating and she said she was talking to them next. She never spoke to them and she went on to tell me she is obligated to do this. The training needs to be better if servers are being trained to kick customers out while they are still eating. Don’t eat here the food isn’t great and the customer service...
