American Eagle & Aerie — Local services in Kennesaw

I had a gift card to American Eagle and kept forgetting to take it with me but I was told by multiple employees that the gift cards don’t expire so I didn’t worry about it too much. Yesterday I finally remembered to take it with me and the cashier told me that they don’t expire before checking the balance. She was having some difficulty pulling it up in the system so she called over a manager who also assured me that the gift cards don’t expire. I told her I had it for a while and she then promptly told me the card was expired and walked off. Be warned the gift cards do expire even though every staff member I’ve ever asked assured me they would never expire. Not only did it annoy me that I was lied to but the money on that card was basically just thrown away. Very disappointing...

Manager at Aerie handled the customer service horribly. Terrible attitude with smart mouth. Instead of saying it out loud, she kept it under her breath and mumbled as if I was an idiot.

I understand that they couldn’t have exchanged my item since I have already washed it & wore it once.

I lost weight in the meantime so I decided and maybe thought I could have it exchanged - which it would’ve have been fine it they couldn’t, but the manager asked me questions like I was an idiot.

This is a great location. The young lady and sales associate, Alison (think that’s how it spelled) is amazing. The last two times I’ve been in Aerie, she has been so helpful and conversational. I love shopping at Aerie because there is truly something for everyone’s body type and style. The employees at the store are super sweet. I’ve been a fan of Aerie since 2016ish and will def keep...
