Harbor Freight — Local services in Kerrville

Date 12/20/24 about 11am. Store was clean and organized. Several customers but not crazy busy. I wasn't looking for anything in particular so I wandered around passing 3 employees. No one acknowledged me or asked if I needed help. Basic retail 101. Found something to purchase and headed up front. Cashier was on the phone so a male employee said he could check me out. Great place for cheap tools but bear in mind you get what you pay for. I highly recommend coming here for any tools that you have a tendency to lose or that are virtually disposable anyway.

Bits are pretty cheap, they also Bend break and shave pretty easily. Great for like some small-scale DIY but I'd never take it on a job site for serious use. I've broken their mallets and hammers in a single day, I've been there pry bars out of shape trying to use them on things that they were rated for. But at the same time I've also bought tape measures that were good quality for half the price of Home Depot. And for a tool kit of a bunch of small bits to repair other tools there's almost nowhere else to find a cheaper option. So definitely...

Clean store... The Female staff was SUPER Helpful... The male staff :/ I asked one of the male staff how to hook up an inverter generator to a solar panel and he said "just plug it into the outlet and it will charge your generator"...
