Whataburger — Restaurant in Kerrville

As I drove into the parking lot, seeing it for the first time, I was ASTONISHED. My mouth dropped as I saw its new, fancy, modern design. It was not overbearing, and it was quite refreshing to see such a new look. They have a big parking lot too. The inside was also new with very open seating with diverse table options, yet the table arrangements were very private and made me feel secure. It was open and private at the same time, which I liked. It was also very clean too. I was greeted very warmly and politely by two employees. I commented on their new store's looks, and the individual (perhaps the manager) responded with pride and gratitude, and they were very amicable and pleasant when receiving my order. The other employee brought out my food in a timely manner as soon as it was prepared, and it was warm and delicious! They were very kind and gracious, and they made sure that I did not need anything else. I ordered the Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit Meal with Hash Browns, a Cinnamon Role, and a Dr. P., as it is always my go-to for a midnight snack/early breakfast. This was one of my favorite dine in experiences at Whataburger. Both employees had such nice smiles, and I felt very welcomed and well-taken care of! They both had genuinely positive attitudes and enjoyed working there. They gave me the impression that they wanted to be there and provide good service. By saying these things, I do not mean to dis other locations, but from my recent experience almost an hour ago, this location really stood out and made a lasting impression. And this is my first Google review, so that is saying a lot! I have never had such EXCELLENT customer service from a Whataburger until now....

Amazing building with a modern aesthetic. The food is great as always and sometimes even better than the other Whataburger’s within Kerrville. A little on the slower side when it comes to orders since they’re extremely new, but nevertheless hardworking and delicious. The Dine In has really comfortable seats, especially the booths that have orange padding that makes you feel like you’re sitting on a comforter, and chairs that are fitted to make anyone comfortable while eating their food. Extremely happy to finally have a corporate Whataburger in Kerrville rather than franchised. Excited to see how this location grows.

Update: It’s currently January 26th, 2023 and I do have some few updates regarding this location.

So far, it’s been a hit or miss with orders, sometimes (and definitely most times) I receive a near perfect order, almost completely fresh and extremely good. There’s been a few bumps in the road where I’ve gotten a wrong order or the quality wasn’t to standard, but the experience overall has definitely improved overtime and is much better than the other Whataburger’s in town. Not only that, whenever something had happened and it was brought to the attention of the higher ups, I was accommodated and they had amazing customer service when it came to helping me with my order.

At the same time, I can completely understand the one star reviews, I was here from day one and I understand what people are talking about with the waits, they were pretty long. However, it’s definitely shortened down by this point and I think everyone should give this place a second chance. Definitely will continue to patron...

My experience might be different from everyone Else but I have never had such a good #1 with cheese in my life. The meat was juicy with perfect seasoning and completely fresh, the fries were hot and perfect, and my drink with their Really crunchable pill looking ice was spectacular! There have been times when their drive-thru was slow (granted there was a line wrapped around the store....like at all Whataburger's). The managers were extremely courteous, giving small talk within the drive-thru while doing their job (getting my change and handing my order out.

I had also went into to dine-in a day after and this gentleman named George and another employee (unfortunately cannot remember her name) had taken my order and helped me redeem my rewards from my app that I had accidentally been letting expire!! He was extremely kind and was talking with me about the rewards system and how I could use them in the future! The girl had checked up on me in the dine in asking if everything was good (it was) and also asked if I needed anything else!

I have never had such better service at a fast food restaurant anywhere else other than here! All I Could recommend is the wait sometimes during the night when it gets busy. Other than that, amazing Whataburger with...
