Key West Dive Center — Local services in Key West

This review is entirely from the online experience. Which is pretty poor.

They boast “Lowest Price Guaranteed,” that they will match prices and that they are 56% cheaper than other places. A quick google search proves that wrong. They are at least $15 more expensive in all areas. I guess I could contact them to have them match it but that leads me to my next point.

No easy way to contact them! I’m out of the country and traveling to Key West and so I really rely on email and contact us forms. They have neither on their site. They have a chat option which says “We’re not around, but we’d love to chat another time”. This would be a great opportunity to plug a contact us form but no, nothing.

So how do I contact you to get you to lower your prices for what you preach? A bit frustrating too because they must know the other dive shops around and what they charge but they still put the false information on their (very slow) site. You...

We decided to come to the Keys for our girl Mandy's bachlorette party. Bride said she wanted to go snorkeling. This company exceeded our expectations. The weather was not on our side, but we all made the best of it. The crew, Captain Sweeney, Carrie, and Gabby, created a memorable experience for our group of 11 as we floated atop the 3rd largest reef in the United States. (Carrie told us a lot of other cool facts too) Capt'n Sweeney not only involved his carisma with all of the passengers, but did an outstanding job getting us out there and back, safe and sound.. In the storm. He was wonderful. All of the other passengers seemed to be having the same outstanding experience. The complementary drinks on the way back in made it even that much better :) So thank you to our crew that we had the pleasure of sailing out with today! Y'all were better than just great. 5 stars for Key West...

Simply unpleasant people who run the shop. I made a reservation on Sunday, and called to change my wife from scuba to snorkeling which initially they were going to accommodate. But when I wanted to cancel the morning dive for myself (cause I didn't want to leave my wife alone for few hours) The guy (who is supposedly the owner) said that if I am canceling the morning then he will just have to cancel the entire thing! His point was that I booked up a holiday weekend and now am changing it... which A) I booked it only day prior! B) the person booking it initially said there would not be any issues if I wanted to make changes. So they just don't keep to their word. What made it worse, is the guy was super rude, arrogant, and borderline yelling at me... Awful customer service... I WOULD NOT GO THERE.... plenty of...
