Usually I have good service from this dealership. A little slow, and forgetful, but I really have no choice, as I purchased this car from them, and they are the only Kia dealership in the Keys. I brought in my car a few weeks ago for a gas cap issue, only for it to be damaged when I picked it up. I was basically called a liar by the Service Manager, Damian. He insisted that they did not damage my car, but it DID NOT have dents on the hood when I dropped it off. He got irritated and angry in the lobby, making a passive aggressive comment to one of his employees, stating "I'm tired of this happening, we need to start taking pictures when they come in" I did not say anything, as I did not want to escalate the situation. Short story, the GM Alex King (?) called to send his "dent man" to fix it. I'll write a review for him, as he was amazing. I was told by the GM "this has never happened before". I doubt that based off the comment by the Service Manager. I wasn't going to write a review until I went in to get the quotes for different repairs, only to have Damian look right at me and say nothing. Not a hello, nothing. I have done business with him for 8 years since I purchased the car. They do all my routine maintenance and needed repairs. For him to treat me as though I did something wrong and completely ignore me was the absolute worst customer service, and made me feel belittled. Read moreUnfortunately I had the worst experience at their service department. Stuff is friendly but When I dropped my car off for a service mentioned the problems which are the noise coming from the tire and tire pressure light. They told me they will need to change tires and recommend axle replacement. I told them if it is going to fix the problem it’s ok. A week later I picked up my car. Besides anything was fixed car is also started to pulling left so hard. I told them pressure light is still on, noice is still there, and car is pulling on a side now. All they did were charging me for 700$ replacing the tires and giving my car back. After long wait for a week and talking to supervisor, they told me they will give %50 off to me and change the axle. I said ok as long as it is going to fix my problem. I waited another 2 weeks. Today I picked up the car back paid 300$ something , guess what? Noise coming from the tire is still there, tire pressure light is still on, and car is pulling on left because they changed the tires and did not to balancing. So basically I brought my car for this place a month ago asked them to fix tire pressure light, and the noise coming from it, they kept the car 1 month charged me over 1,000$ and gave my car back to me with 3 problems. I am native to the Keys and bought my KIA new in 2017 from Key West Kia to keep it in the county yet my repair experience with them has been horrendous and fraudulent! I brought it in recently for 5 recalls and repair to the ABS. I had these repairs done while I was away 3 weeks. When my son went to pick up my car the AC was not working and yet the AC had no issues prior. The tech blamed this on my leaving it there 3 weeks (and not nicely at that)! I made my son drive it directly back wasting a trip to KW from Big Pine Key which is an hour round trip. The tech calls me 3 days later and says "the car needs a new AC compressor & it's about $2400!!" Well I immediately had my son pick up the car and bring it to our local island repair KM Auto on BPK. Lee who owns and repairs our family vehicles calls me and says.... "The low side service cap was off and all the freon was gone" they replaced the freon and charged me barely anything. THIS IS VERY SLIMY AND WRONG! I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY WOULD DO THIS TO A LOCAL.... Needless to say....Although I am getting ready to trade in my car for a new one, I won't be back to buy another KIA locally from these guys! It's a shame they treat...
