Worst "after sale" customer service I’ve ever experienced! My husband and I visited KWH early March during a week long vacation in Key West and quickly made a $300 purchase of a jumbo hammock and jumbo pillow to accompany it. I took several a photos of the pieces we purchased. We were told the order would be packed immediately and arrive at our home by the time we returned from vacation at the end of the week. The sales associate, Jessica gave us her card and wrote her telephone number on it, saying to call her if we needed anything else in the future. The hammock and pillow arrived 2 weeks late, but that wasn’t a problem for us. Despite what we purchased, which was confirmed on the written order and receipt, the a brown pillow arrived, not the bright red one we ordered. I immediately called KWH (got no answer, but left a voice message) and emailed KWH to alert them of their error and inquired how to return the brown pillow and get the red one. With that initial email I included the the photos I had taken while in the store of what we ordered and a photo o the brown one that we received, I thought it may be unnecessary to include the photos, after all, how could you confuse the color red with the color brown? Yet, I attached all the photos to the email anyway. After a few days with no response, I called again (no answer, had to leave another voice message), emailed KWK , and then called the number Jessica wrote on her card ( I left a message, there was no answer) as well as texted a message to her (it was marked "delivered"). A few weeks later I received (and was charged again for) a second pillow... AGAIN, brown, not red! I began the frustrating process of multiple emails, calls and texts get the 2 brown pillows I did not order (but paid for) returned (and credited to my charge account). As of today, almost 3 months later, KWH has ignored my emails, calls to the store, to the telephone number Jessica gave me and voice messages to correct an error they made twice. Surprisingly on May 1st, 2 months after the sale, I received a cryptic email from an Alex Lawson at KWH. He wrote "I called you 4 times just yesterday". His claim was both untrue and insulting ! My cell phone had no missed calls and no there were no voice messages from him. I wrote back telling him to check the cell phone number I provided in each of the 8 prior unanswered emails I sent to KWH, adding that I had no missed calls and no voice mail from him (I foolishly added "but thank you for trying") and asked for a telephone number where I could reach him since he has a problem reaching me....that was 3 weeks ago! Shame on me for expecting KWH to do the right thing after 3 months of doing the wrong thing (as well as nothing). Im not sure what they hope to accomplish by ignoring their customers and refusing to correct their mistakes.    Read moreI was a loyal customer until this last purchase. Their products are good but customer service is lacking. I ordered a large Mayan hammock for my wife's birthday 2 weeks ahead of time from the website. A day or two later a shipping label was created in the next few days I noticed no movement on the package from FedEx. I sent them an email regarding the issue and did not get a response at all. I ended up calling the store , by this time it was already my wife's birthday, and they said that the hammock I ordered was on backorder and somebody should have called me to ask if I wanted to wait for it or get a different color. I ended up getting a different color just to have it. So they have things on their site that are not in stock, did not follow up and call me, didn't answer my email, and seemed to have no remorse.
