Our group has stayed at this property for 5 years for our annual Parrothead (Jimmy Buffett Fan) National Convention. We love that it has six suites together on one floor so our group could stay connected during our week in Key West. We sat out by the pool several evenings to reminisce about what we had done/seen that day.
Each suite is bright and cheery, with a fully equipped kitchen, and all the amenities were as listed. Down the hall are 2 washers and 2 dryers, which we always use to wash our clothes the day before heading back home.
It has an entrance on the famous (infamous?) Duval Street, but it is located farther down the street from the noisy bars, so you can relax in your room or by the pool, and get a good night's sleep after a busy day. It also has a back entrance, with reserved parking spaces for cars and a bike rack. We rented bikes for the week, so we appreciated having somewhere to lock up our bikes. The pool area also has 3 BBQ grills if you care to cook out (maybe you went fishing, you can cook your catch). It is an easy walk to many of the great restaurants like Ramshead Southernmost or Blue Heaven or even Louie's Backyard (we are Parrotheads, after all :); Landmarks like Hemingway House, the Key West Lighthouse, President Harry Truman's Little White House and Fort Zachary, and bars like La Te Da, Margaritaville, Captain Tony's, Smokin' Tuna and Hogs Breath. It's only one block from a bus stop for the free Duval Loop city bus at Petronia and Whitehead.

Read moreWe stayed for 2 weeknights at the Duval Street Suites in Key West in January of 2023. Magen, the manager, was wonderful to deal with and was quickly responsive. We were so glad that we chose a place to stay right in the thick of the Key West community. Though it was just 2 of us, we wanted to have some space in the apartment to sit comfortably and enjoy some food. This charming place had a kitchenette, dining table and couch as well as a good sized closet and dresser. The apartment was clean, with a well stocked kitchen and access to everything we needed. We loved that there was a washer and dryer on the premises as well. The location, right on Duval Street, was perfect for us, since we were able to walk anywhere we needed to go. We had some initial reservations about the noise on the street, but we found that everything quieted down around 11. There was a jazz club across the street so we were able to enjoy the music . My husband and I really appreciated the safe/quiet parking lot for our car. This is a must if driving in Key West! There are so many wonderful restaurants in the vicinity (a delicious breakfast and lunch cafe right next door!). and there was easy access to the Earnest Hemingway House/Museum (right across the street!) and the Lighthouse. We did not use the pool but it had plenty of seating and was well cared for. Key West was amazing and when we return we would love to stay again at...
Read moreWhat a fantastic week our family had celebrating my 75th birthday at DUVAL STREET SUITES in Key West. Magen even had a birthday poster up for me. This is an ideal location for getting all around Key West. The owner was so helpful and accommodations were great. Our children and grandchildren had so much fun sightseeing; all within walking distance. We enjoyed the trolley tour around the island to learn about the history of it. Then we went to the shipwreck museum, aquarium, Butterfly Conservatory, Hemingway House (steps away from the suites), Truman’s Little White House was great too. Some went jet skiing, and we all enjoyed the dolphin watching before snorkeling. With Restaurants all around DUVAL STREET SUITES we had a short walk to any kind of cuisine. We highly recommend DUVAL STREET SUITES for your stay in Key West. We enjoyed down time at the pool and quiet backyard. There were grills to use too but we chose to eat out or bring take out in…..so convenient. We highly recommend the wonderful and centrally located DUVAL...
