Did some shopping with my wife in this nice looking boutique. Bought some t-shirts and other stuff including some postcards to send to family in Europe. After paying, when i asked if i could buy stamps, a young fellow behind the cash register said "no". From that moment on, every word seemed to be a huge effort for him. I had to ask where i could buy stamps, and he told me "at the postoffice". DUH, but where is it? Then he just stopped talking and looked at me like i wasn't there!! So i had no clue where to buy stamps and we went out. To treat customers who just bought for around $150 on souvenirs, i feel that at least i should get an answer and not just a rude look. And no, it was not busy, we were the only two customers. Even when leaving the store, i said thanks and goodby, but again no anwser, just that arrogant look. Why? i paid, didn't bargain for a discount, wasn't rude and did not break anything.
This was the rudest treatment i got in my vacation of 3 weeks in total in Florida. What a douchebag! i don't know if that dude was working in the shop of his parents, but boy, he needs to learn some matters. And no, i am not an old whiner, but somebody who appreciates an answer for an...
Ā Ā Ā Read morei didnāt even get to actually walk around or shop. i walked inside with my husband who was trying on a hat and the gentleman in the front looked up from his phone and yelled āMASKS?!ā I even attempted to begin a conversation by apologizing and stating that we were not from key west with a smile. He just stared at me blankly and didnāt even respond and still, not even a smile or āitās ok!ā It was very rude and awkward. i understand there is a pandemic and there are certain mask mandates but where iām from they are not required so we are simply having a hard time remembering to keep them on all the time. also, it is our FIRST day in key west. it was the very first shop we stepped into. At the very least the gentleman could have said HELLO. he was so rude that we didnāt even want to shop anymore. well take our business elsewhere :) i truly hope he is not the owner of the store. (he was a bald man) but in any case, we let our family and friends know who joined us on this trip not to even step foot in there. Itās not hard to be polite to guests. My husband and I both work in hospitality/retail so we know how to treat...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHORRIBLE MAN WITH A CRAPPY ATTITUDE. I tried to exchange a necklace I purchased the day before that when I gave it to my son he tried to adjust it to put it on and one side came untied. When I walked in with my receipt and asked to exchange not return the very rude man working there gave me a look like I was doing something wrong and said it was like that when you bought it? With a rude sarcastic tone and I said yes it was actually, my son tried to adjust it to put it on and it untied. He then had the nerve to ask me why I was annoyed? Uh how about because of the way you were treating me! I could understand him being sceptical if I wanted my money back maybe but I wanted to get a product that I had just paid for not even 24 hrs ago that was not broken! VERY POOR CUSTOMER...
