Awful experience. I came in today (the 15th) around 4pm with only one man in the store working. I saw the woman ahead of me insert her card so when it was my turn I asked if they accepted Apple Pay because I didn't have my card to which the man said they did. I needed a new phone because mine was ghost scrolling pretty bad. I ended up paying off my current phone with Apple Pay and then when it came time to order a phone he told me to insert my card. I mentioned how I had said I didn't have my card I had lost it which is why I needed Apple Pay, I was visiting and my bank wasn't nearby to get a new card. He then had me open up the app and told me to insert my card info, I said I can't insert my card info because I don't know my info to which he replied "how do you not know your card info?" and I said "who knows their card number and info by heart?" and then he started FLIPPING out on me with another customer in the store and telling me I was giving him attitude and to get out of the store and I said I wasn't leaving until he refunded me and he said that he would do it once I left. I said no to refund me first and he threatened to call the cops on me so I left. I was never refunded and had to deal with the fraud department at another AT&T store to even get a new phone because of all of this. The other customer came out after me a few minutes later and told me that he was ALSO giving her issues and she said he was awful. We will never be going back to this location and I hope this employee gets fired and some anger management, AT&T in Windham, CT was VERY helpful and I'd drive the extra distance any day than step foot in this...
Read moreI've been a store/district manager for over 20 years and I have never seen such a blatent disregard for professionalism and customer service. AT&T and myself both called separately to inquire about a certain phone and a package deal that was available online. The person we spoke to said it was also available through them at the store. He went as far as explaining where they were located and informed us that they were open until 6p. What he neglected to mention was the fact that they did not carry either of the 2 items in question in stock! After talking to one of the reps, I decided to go with the phone version that had less internal memory but could handle the same amount in expandable storage, and just dropped getting the 2nd item. I also purchased accessories which proved to be of inferior quality once I arrived home. The screen protector was installed incorrectly and broke the moment I tried to put my case on. The rep was in a rush because he wanted to leave for lunch, which he broadcasted through the store. He also stated to several customers that he was sorry for snapping at them and that he was not built for high pressure situations. He told another customer jokingly that he was going to set himself on fire. They took offense to it, one of them asking me if that comment was because of their ethnicity. Read moreI have NEVER been treated so poorly!! My son went in for an upgrade in may. He was told wrong information by store employee mohommed and now we are dealing with a very expensive mistake. We have tried to resolve this issue for 3 months and are getting no where so my next option is small claims court. Your store refuses to correct the mistake caused by your employee and I am left to pay the price. I will also be forced to file a compliant with consumer protection. The store employee told my son he could get a specific phone at a cheaper price if he added a new line and then cancel the line after- this is not true and to fix the situation I have to pay $1000 for the phone!! Plus the extra charges that I have incurred over the last 3 months. The manager Manny was very rude to me in front of another customer and accusatory. I have never written a review on line before but feel compelled to because I was so ill treated. He accused me of speaking badly about his business but I was the one who was wronged and taken advantage of. Awful costumer experience and off to court we go. Do not purchase from this store !!
