I’ll start off with the generic “if I could give zero stars I would.” This store ruined my first visit there and from that experience I should’ve never gone back nor given them a single penny of my money. I first went there to repair my ring for a piece that had fallen out and to resize it. The first thing I was asked was “well why don’t you just get a new ring” after saying I just wanted it to be repaired and resized. She then corrected herself, realizing what she had just said, and very plainly and unapologetically said “oh it’s probably of sentimental value.” Fast forward to getting my ring back after it being sent out to be repaired and it’s too small. After telling them multiple times what my correct ring size would be they still incorrectly wrote it down. Resulting in them having to resend my ring out. Fast forward to now my ring has broken in two spots which is obviously where it was “repaired” not including the piece they were to replace which also fell out. The customer service I experienced was below average and deserves no recognition on the topic of customer service and making one feel as though they had been helped. I will never come back here again as the customer service is horrible and the repair quality is not reliable. This ring IS of high sentimental value and it was not treated as such. I had other pieces of jewelry from Kay, one of which was a necklace. The chain snapped after 6 months of wearing it so we sent it in to get repaired. After getting it back, it broke again 2 weeks later and I was unaware it had fallen off my neck. I lost that piece of jewelry (which was an anniversary present) and I did not receive any help from the customer service team. The repair quality is unacceptable, the customer service is poor and I know for sure I’ll never trust a Kay’s...
Read moreWe just moved to town and had the pleasure of meeting Pat, who changed our lives! We had no idea that we had signed up for the lifetime warranty a few years back when living in California, and that we had access to so much!
My wife needed her ring re-sized. Pat told us this would be free of charge. My ring was starting to turn yellow and lose its shine. Pat informed me that I could get my ring re-dipped in rhodium to make it look brand new, and that this would also be free of charge because of the lifetime warranty! I had always wanted my center stone to be a bit lower, and that was free too!
I just want to highlight that we had visited so many Kay locations before this, where I had mentioned how much I missed my ring’s shine, and nobody ever told me about the free re-dipping!
Pat set everything up for us, even on a time crunch, since I was headed to work! Our rings were both ready within the 3 week time frame they had promised. Both our rings came out stunning! We are so happy we went to Kay Jewelers and we are beyond grateful to have met Pat! Thank you so much! A true customer...
Read moreEllie provided amazing customer service with a warranty issue I had. She came off that she knew what she was doing and created multiple solutions for my issue to accommodate me in a timely manner. I would absolutely come back specifically when she is working.
I’m giving only 3 stars because of the service I received from the assistant manager Kaitlyn. I was in store for almost an hour while she tried to figure out how to take a return for an item purchased with a gift card. I ended up figuring it out on my own on my phone. I was given a lot of misinformation such as Kay’s website never runs out of stock, they will price match, if you can’t get a price match item they will custom make it at no additional cost, and a refund check can be canceled so a gift card can be given in store. I confirmed directly with Kay’s that all of these are untrue. I really think she needs additional training especially if she is working as an assistant manager. I also don’t think workers should be wearing a bull nose ring while selling high end jewelry. It’s offensive given the amount of money people...
