Starbucks — Restaurant in Killingly

It's not often I go out of my way to leave a negative review but often times when I come to the Starbucks, the girls that work here are extremely catty and rude. Today in particular I came by around 4:30 p.m. the Starbucks surprisingly was not busy but my service was still extremely rushed. I asked for my drink made a certain way and I could tell the girl was not paying attention whatsoever. So I made it a point to repeat my order and she was pretty rude in her response. Well my drink ended up not being made the way I wanted so when I asked for it to please be remade the way I ordered it , that same girl not only rolled her eyes but I could hear her mocking me as I left. I tried reading her name tag but couldn't fully make it out I know it started with an M and ended with Lynn. Maybe Madalynn. Long red hair shorter woman. As I mentioned before, a lot of the girls here are just rude and I feel judged when I come out of my way to order at this Starbucks

I know that thing I had noticed was that they we're out of the crunch topping that goes in the caramel ribbon crunch. The expresso machine was also not working at the time. And the coffee base that is used for the frappuccino I ordered was just in a random Starbucks drinking cup with no lid that was being used to pour into my drink (and other people's) instead of being in whatever container it is usually stored in. Kind of gross. Kind of...

Three star rating because this is NOT a stand alone Starbucks. This is more like a small knockoff version of Starbucks located inside Target. It is run by Target store employees that mostly don’t seem into the coffee shop vibe that you would normally get at a stand alone Starbucks. The turnover rate is pretty high compared to other Starbucks that I have been visited. They also have an extremely limited food menu. They often fall behind when business picks up and they appear overwhelmed and make mistakes like putting the wrong kind of milk or not informing you that they ran out of something after you paid and have been waiting…on multiple occasions. Once upon a time, this was a well run place with familiar faces on a consistent basis, but as of this review, you just never know what you will get from whomever shows...

SO inconsistent. I love and appreciate having ANY Starbucks locally but service and quality control and very minimal. My drinks are made correctly maybe 1/4 of the time. I mostly stopped going because it’s expensive and just so disappointing.

Edited to add: I came here today for the first time in months. Figured maybe they improved. Summer drinks were released 3 days ago and they are out of boba, which is the leading selling point of their 3 brand new summer drinks. How do you sell out in 3 days?
