I came in to the station to use the restroom, after filling up. I had just left my best friend who is dying and will likely never see her again. It was obvious I had been crying and the young man, named Briar, watched out for me. He talked to me so kindly and kept me talking, probably to just be sure that I was ok to get behind the wheel. I did not purchase anything else, but his compassion made such a difference for the rest of my ride home and it has stuck with me now for 5 days and probably will forever.
